You can enjoy all this to the fullest when you camp at campsite du Pont d'Avignon. This child-friendly campsite is located on an island in the Rhône river. This campsite is especially popular because it is a municipal campsite in Avignon. From the campsite, you can easily cross the river using the free ferry service or you can walk to the beautiful town centre in 20 minutes.

Camping in comfort

When you drive through the campsite, you can imagine yourself in a lush, green park. There are many trees and the camping pitches are situated on grass. Do you value your privacy during your holiday? Then choose a spacious camping pitch between tall hedges, which also provide plenty of shade. There are also open fields where you can pitch your tent or caravan.

Water fun in the swimming pool

The entire campsite is very green, and this also applies to the swimming pool area. The playfully constructed swimming pool is surrounded by plants, giving you that true holiday feeling when you go for a swim. There is also a paddling pool for the little ones. There are a number of loungers at your disposal.

The restaurant with a terrace is located directly next to the pool, allowing you to keep an eye on the children while they are busy splashing in the water. The children will not be bored in the peak season, with an enthusiastic entertainment team thinking up the most fun activities and games.

Travelling party: Group of friends

die Duschen und Toiletten müssten dringen renoviert und modernisiert werden. Die meisten Plätze sind ausreichend groß und schattig. Während des Theaterfestivals herrscht ein ständiges kommen und gehen. Es gab kein vernünftiges Brot auf dem Platz. Ein Fahrrad zu haben ist von Vorteil.

Travelling party: Seniors

Typischer Stadt-Campingplatz. Da die Lage sich für einen Besuch von Avignon bestens eignet hat man das Gefühl, dass der Platz nicht optimal bewirtschaftet wird. Anscheinend haben sie es nicht nötig, da der Platz der Lage wegen doch oft angfahren wird. Schade! Sanitär schon sehr dürftig.

Travelling party: Couple

Idealer Platz um Avignon zu Fuß per kostenloser Fähre zu besuchen. Sanitär ist veraltet. Verkehrslärm und Lärm durch angrenzende Parkanlage ist deutlich zu hören. Die Stellplätze sind groß aber etwas ungepflegt.

Travelling party: Young couple

An für sich ein schöner Platz mit schönen Stellplätzen. Aber sanitär sehr alt. An sich auch kein Problem aber noch nicht mal sauber.
Direkt nach dem „sauber machen“ wieder dreckig oder auch noch dreckig.
Wasserhähne für Frischwasser nicht aktiv aufgrund der nebensaison. Selbst an der „wassertankstelle“ kein Frischwasser.
Personal ist eher vom Typ schnell schnell

Eigentlich sehr schade.
Ach ja der Pool war auch ziemlich dreckig
