You can enjoy all this to the fullest when you camp at campsite du Pont d'Avignon. This child-friendly campsite is located on an island in the Rhône river. This campsite is especially popular because it is a municipal campsite in Avignon. From the campsite, you can easily cross the river using the free ferry service or you can walk to the beautiful town centre in 20 minutes.

Camping in comfort

When you drive through the campsite, you can imagine yourself in a lush, green park. There are many trees and the camping pitches are situated on grass. Do you value your privacy during your holiday? Then choose a spacious camping pitch between tall hedges, which also provide plenty of shade. There are also open fields where you can pitch your tent or caravan.

Water fun in the swimming pool

The entire campsite is very green, and this also applies to the swimming pool area. The playfully constructed swimming pool is surrounded by plants, giving you that true holiday feeling when you go for a swim. There is also a paddling pool for the little ones. There are a number of loungers at your disposal.

The restaurant with a terrace is located directly next to the pool, allowing you to keep an eye on the children while they are busy splashing in the water. The children will not be bored in the peak season, with an enthusiastic entertainment team thinking up the most fun activities and games.

Was hier in augustus en dan ligt de camping er waarschijnlijk beter bij dan in mei. Jammer dat deze camping hierdoor een negatieve recensie kreeg. Is gewoon een mooi opgezette camping met schoon sanitair en lekker zwembad. Mooie plaatsen. Vlak bij t centrum van het prachtige Avignon. Dus best een goede en mooie camping.

Travelling party: Seniors

Ce camping est idéalement situé pour visiter la cité des papes. On peut prendre le bac, gratuit,situé à quelques centaines de mètres du camping, pour traverser le Rhône. Malheureusement nous n\'avons pas pu l\'utiliser, trop de mistral. Le personnel du camping qui nous l\'avait conseillé n\'était pas au courant! Nous aurions aimé voir quelqu’un du camping pendant cet épisode venteux d\'autant que des camping-cars ont dû changer d\'emplacement pour cause de chutes de branches. Camping à recommander éviter les emplacements arborés par fort mistral.

Pool und Restaurant zweckmäßig – Personal freundlich – Stechmückenplage (Mitte September) – viel Schatten – alte, aber sehr gute Sanitäranlagen – gute Lage, um Avignon zu erkunden – Besonderheit: Fähre in die Stadt gratis – großzügige Parzellen

C\'est un très beau camping très arboré.
Les sanitaires sont un peu vieillot mais l\'ensemble reste excellent.
Nous n\'avons pas pu tester la piscine ou encore les services car en mars il n\'y en a pas.
Par contre très déçu par le site internet ACSI qui ne m\'a pas fait bénéficier de la remise porteur de carte ACSI.

Liked - The young warden couple were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location of the site is fantastic and the pitch was a good size.
Disliked - The toilet/shower block felt a bit like a prison block and was very cold and unwelcoming on a march morning. The push button operation of shower lasted anywhere between 2-8 seconds which wasn't good when the wind is whistling above and below your shower door. No facilities were open during our stay so unable to comment.

Bezoek aan Avignon te voet en met de fiets, bezoek aan de beroemde brug, dagje lekker niets doen aan het zwembad van de camping.

Wir haben diesen Campingplatz gewählt, da er sehr nah zur Altstadt liegt. Es fahren auch kostenfreie Personenfähren, die direkt an dem Ufer zur Altstadt anlegen.

Netter Campingplatz mit einem guten Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Waschhäuser sind schon älter, aber sauber und funktional.
Der Pool ist klasse und bietet vor allem mit Kindern viel Spaß. Die Stellplätze sind für Wohnwagen z.T. eine echte Herausforderung wenn es darum geht, den Caravan erst einmal zu platzieren. Hat man dies geschafft, sind diese aber angenehm groß und gut beschattet.

We gingen voor de tiende keer in september. De camping wordt elk jaar een stukje beter! Dit jaar viel het weer zwaar tegen, maar de stad en de omgeving maken veel goed.
