Prachtig verzorgde camping. Broodjesservice. Was zeer rustig.

Schitterende camping.

Travelling party: Young couple

Who we are: two young adults who love to cycle (despite the name of the camp site, it is not only suitable for bikers: also families, elderly people, campers, day-people were present).

Camping: big places, well maintained and flat grass, nice plants around places, places with shadows (trees) or without or semi, the higher you choose your places the nicer the view, quite new toilets and shower facility, clean and maintained.

Camping owners: the nicest French people I have ever met! Communication was very easy because they speak English. They are really willing to help, give advice about nice trips. For example a hiking trip to a cascade and through old train tunnels, we are not hikers but running was also possible they told us, and it was!

Hauteville-Lompres and around: small village and in 10-15 minutes walkable. Baker present, supermarket, some restaurants. We did grocery also in the neighborhood, a trip in the car over the colls. I think we were in 5 different directions, different routes, different small cities, summarized: it was really fun to discover the nature in this way! Besides, if you are sharp you can discover a broad animal range: deers, foxes, wild goats, and many other of which I the name not know (if you are interested, the camping owner can show you a lot of pictures and self made films about this beautifullies!)

A lovely site. Very welcoming owners who were very helpful about the area. Facilities were good. An excellent area for cycling. The town was easy to walk or cycle to. Plenty of shops and restaurants. We hope to return.
