Travelling party: Young couple

What a lovely site - well worth the journey from the motorway. Huge emplacements, warm welcome, great facilities and immense care shown in all aspects of the site. It is beautiful and a great credit to the owners.
At first the size of each emplacement is a little bewildering but you quickly realise what lucky campers you are to have come to Les Ripettes.

Lovely campsite. We only stayed for one night but wished we were able to stay longer. Our pitch was near to all the amenities, as it was just opposite the swimming pool and snack hut. Both of these were excellent and we ordered a bowl of hot chips and cans of drink - although the owner did not tell us about a snack hut and we had to find out for ourselves, likewise for the Wi-Fi point. Our pitch was so big! Pleasantly quiet at all times and away from busy roads. Would recommend.

Travelling party: Seniors

Stayed at this site In September 2011 for a week on our way South and for 4 days on our way home (at end od September). This is our third year visiting this site which out of season is very quiet. Pitches are spacious and proprieters are very friendly and keep the site in a good state of repair. Free WiFi access is useful. Plenty to see and do in the local area. Excellent weekly market each Wednesday morning in Pont de Vaux. This site has just been awarded three stars which are well deserved!

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Very helpful staff the proprietor was very attentive and always on hand, toilets and showers (2 blocks in summer) were spotless and chemical disposal one of the best and cleanest I have come across. Grey water disposal is unclear so ask.

A real pleasure was the size of the pitches, most have ample elbow room and that pleasant feeling of not being on top of each other, a few are massive. The site is well shaded in summer, but watch out for bitey insects in June.

The surrounding countryside is very pleasant with plenty to do if you are that way inclined.

A pity it has a shortish opening period - it closes end of September as it is an excellent place to rest up a few days when touring.

Very handy for the town and ski slopes, staff friendly and helpful stayed there three times now, would like to see free wi-fi. Can feel a bit crowded in high season very limited for off season ACSI card users.

Travelling party: Group of friends

I have recently spent 2 weeks at Les Rippettes as part of a rally with the ABI & Friends Caravan Club. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would certainly visit the site again. The Owners are helpful, friendly and keep the site and its amenities in excellent condition. I would certainly recommend a stay here.

Travelling party: Group of friends

I have just returned from staying 24 days at Les Ripettes. I was there as a member of a group of Caravanning Ralliers from UK with ABI & Friends Caravan Club. This site has many positives and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The site though fairly plain is very tidy and most pitches are large and slightly sloping most with some shade. The toilets and showers and the swimming pool are kept very clean. I found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Madame Isabel provides waffles, crepes, chips and cake in the evening on set days. Fresh bread etc is available with Monsieur Marc each morning and a pizza van visits each Tuesday. I would thoroughly recommend this site as both a stop over destination and an overnight stop. The toilet block features probably the best chemical disposal point I have ever seen - it was a pleasure to empty the loo!

Travelling party: Seniors

Stayed for one night on way down to Alps in May 2011, very quiet but made very welcome by owners. On return journey in June 2011 stayed for 3 nights to see the area, again made very welcome, will definitely stay again if in area. A lovely camp, clean, quiet - although busy in June - and spotlessly clean. Next time will try cycling around the lovely countryside.
