The location of campsite Kanopée-Village à Trevoux is unique: within walking distance of the lovely town of Trévoux, on the banks of the Saône river and at half an hour's drive from Lyon.

Bird nest

The campsite has a large range of pitches, is shady and has a diversity of greenery. Most pitches are separated by hedges. Some pitches are located along the jogging track and water. However, the houses on stilts ('bird nests') are the main attraction of the campsite. They are of a striking design and attract many weekend guests. Because the units are spread across the grounds, the adjacent pitches are slightly less private.

Pathway along river

The campsite itself has few amenities. The campsite relies on the surrounding area. There is direct access from the campsite to the walking and cycling trail along the Saône. Routes are available from the reception. The campsite also offers guided walks. You can go canoeing and hiking in the vicinity.

Regional products

At the reception you can buy regional products (such as wine). There is also a bread service. There is a supermarket within cycling distance. Just outside the campsite you can enjoy a meal for a reasonable price.

Liked - Wir wurden sehr freundlich und kompetent empfangen & bedient. Die Anlage ist gross, aber noch überschaubar. Rund ums das Mobilheim gibt es genügend Platz (auch für die Kinder zum spielen).
Das Mobilheim ist gross und geräumig. Es war sauber als wir ankamen. Einzig bei der Kücheneinrichtung hätten wir uns mehr Auswahl gewünscht (Teller, Besteck, Handtücher, etc.).
Das Freibad ist gleich nebenand und absolut zu empfehlen. Klar hat es bei schönem Wetter viele Leute, das Wasser war jedoch sauber und überall gab es Rettungspersonal.

Liked - Alle sehr freundlich. Für morgens kann ich Croissants oder Baguettes vorbestellen.
Der Platz ist sehr ruhig und wunderschön gelegen. Es sind jedoch manchmal ein paar Handwerker in den Holzbungalows untergebracht. Die können schon mal etwas lauter sein.
Aber insgesamt kann ich den Platz empfehlen. Wir sind auch schon zweimal dort gewesen.
Disliked - Den Handwerkern sagen, dass sie die Musik nicht so laut aufdrehen.

Liked - Immer saubere Sanitäreinrichtungen, kein weiter weg zum Strand, sauberer Strand, große Auswahl im Supermarkt
Disliked - Hunde-Duschen in der Nähe vom Strand machen, an den Hunde-Duschen eine Befestigung für sie Leine im den Hund anzubinden. Ein Hundeareal oder Hundeklo, wäre wünschenswert, da man sonst bis weit vor den Campingplatz laufen muss oder der Hund auf nicht belegte Parzellen sein Geschäft erledigt.

Liked - Die Lage und die Unterkunft waren sehr schön und das angrenzende Schwimmbad konnte auch genutzt werden.
Disliked - Hinweis an der Rezeption, dass im Schwimmbad nur enge Badehosen erlaubt sind.

Liked - Ein Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg in den Süden, der auch länger hätte sein dürfen da der Platz und die Umgebung einen guten Eindruck hinterlassen!

Liked - Der Bungalow war sauber, modern eingerichtet, es hatte Schatten. Alles bestens.
Disliked - Bei der Reinigung vor uns wurde wohl ein Putzmittel benutzt, welches einen schlechten Geschmack hatte. Der Geschmack hing ein wenig in der Wohnung.

Liked - Obwohl wir sehr spät dran waren, ca 21:30 und die Rezeption schon geschlossen hatte, wurden wir sehr freundlich von der Dame der Rezeption herein gebeten.
Reservierung und Bezahlung online möglich
Disliked - Das zweite Toilettenhaus war geschlossen, obwohl der Platz ziemlich gut, so 3/4 belegt war
Das Wasser in der Dusche könnte etwas länger laufen

Liked - Einfach gehaltener aber sehr schöner Campingplatz. Sanitäranlagen gut, kein großer Luxus aber alles funktionierte und es war sauber.
Disliked - Wir kamen bei unseren ersten Aufenthalt recht spät an und hatten Schwierigkeiten, einen geeigneten Stellplatz inklusive Strom für Auto+ Wohnwagen zu finden. Vielleicht kann man doch über eine Art Zuteilung nachdenken (Bereiche ohne Strom/ mit Strom, für Wohnmobile/ für Wohnwagen)?
Vielleicht doch mal über Seifenspender an den Waschbecken nachdenken.
