The child-friendly campsite l'Oasis is situated on the banks of the clean river Ay. Here you are in an open area alternated with woods, between the towns Sarras and Eclassan. Nature lovers can hike and cycle to their heart's content. An entertainment team provides amusement in high season.

Camping on grass

At Camping l'Oasis, choose the pitch that suits you best. A spacious pitch at the top of the hill is most suitable for caravans. Or you refer your pitch to be down by the river. The pitches are a bit smaller, but with more shade and closer to the swimming pool and the bar. The shrubs and trees that demarcate many of the pitches give the campsite a relaxed character. There are also several rental accommodations to book.

Water fun

Adjacent to the restaurant you’ll find the rectangular swimming pool, with next to it a small paddling pool. The solar collectors ensure that the water is always nice and warm. You can get a tan or read a book on the sunbeds around the pool.

At the bottom of the campsite meanders the shallow, clean river. A popular place for children to play and for adults to cool off or catch a fish. The water is not deep enough for swimming. The campsite offers direct access to the river.

Daily menu and fresh pizzas

The bar and swimming pool are the heart of the campsite. You can go there for a drink, an ice cream or something to eat. It’s open all day. Occasionally there is a musical performance in the evening. In the shop at the reception you can buy some basic groceries.

Liked - De sfeer en de rust en het riviertje
Disliked - Te stil voor ons en onze kinderen. Plus het huisje was niet schoon en alles kraakte. De foto’s op internet van bijvoorbeeld de badkamer kwamen niet overeen met de badkamer van huisje 45.

Liked - De standplaats en de receptie waren top. Het zwembad was groot genoeg. De omgeving is erg mooi. Goed verblijf gehad!
Disliked - Jammer dat boven 1 toiletgebouw niet open was. De WiFi beneden was slecht. Kan komen doordat we het vrije uurtje per dag hadden.

Liked - Ondanks de warmte een heerlijke plek gehad met veel schaduw en in de koelte van een vallei.
Disliked - Helaas was het riviertje nagenoeg droog

Liked - Heerlijke camping met fijn zwembad. Mix van Franse en Nederlandse gasten. Vriendelijke eigenaren. Speeltuin, trampolines, minigolf, riviertje.

Liked - Het is een rustige fijne camping. De eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk en spreken goed Engels. Er is geen bereik met je mobiele telefoon maar de WiFi werkt prima. Onze kinderen hebben genoten van het zwembad en de trampolines. Alles is overzichtelijk en compact. Wij hadden een plek onder aan de camping, dit was erg fijn.
Disliked - De camping ligt vrij afgelegen. Het is 20 minuten rijden naar de bewoonde wereld. Het laatste stuk naar de camping is vrij stijl en bochtig. Helaas stond er door de droogte weinig tot geen water in de naast gelegen beek. Het is een terras camping, als je bovenaan staat moet je steeds een flinke afdaling naar beneden nemen voor het zwembad, receptie ect. Afval punten alleen boven aan de camping.

Liked - Heerlijke vakantie gehad in de glamping tent, super fijn zwembad waar onze kinderen zich prima vermaakt hebben. Wij zaten helemaal boven dus het was wel even een klim maar hele mooie omgeving.
