Well managed and modern site. Feels rather cramped because sites are close together. Good toilets, water at all sites. Good stop en route to Switzerland.
A lovely campsite with very helpful staff. We only stayed there one night but we're made very welcome. We attended our first raclet meal which I understand the campsite stage every Monday throughout the summer, for 20 euros you get unlimited food and wine. It was a bargain and we met some Dutch visitors who were great fun. The owner of the site gave us a talk on the origin of raclet and the wine which was produced on their own vineyard. All facilities were spotless. I would highly recommend this site
What this site has going for it is proximity to Geneva and elsewhere via bus for motorhomers especially. Bus stop at parc de loisirs by supermarket and fantastic sports facility.
Staff friendly and helpful. Pitches ok and separated with easy access to water. All but one small sanitary block closed so unisex. Very small showers. Washing up outside.
More of a 1-2 night stopover.
Absolutely lovely site. Staff very helpful. Restaurant really good, children's animals, play area, swimming pool, great pitches with beautiful views to mountains. Small shop selling basics plus bread to order. Supermarket 800m but down steep hill and up another hill, not idea for Motorhomers' with regard to shops. Ideal for caravaners. Family run, and father will take in his bus, minimum of 6, to Geneva sightseeing. Beautifully kept. Toilets spotless. Disables shower/toilet/wash sink. Chalets are also available. Would certainly recommend and on our Return List.
Excellent site which was well maintained and clean. Indoor and outdoor pools. Helpful staff. Good sized pitches with shade. Good bakery at the top of the street. A short drive to Geneva and Annecy (a really beautiful town). We joined in the Savoyard evening and had fun. Plenty to eat and wine included.
This is a tidy, clean, well maintained site. The staff were lovely and the toilets, washing facilities were very good, although the showers lacked a small seat or shelf outside the actual shower but within the cubicle to set things on to stay dry. The village of Neydens is very quiet but within good proximity to Geneva and Annecy. Next time we are in this area we intend staying closer to Annecy, which was beautiful.
Excellent well run site with an superb artisan boulangere at the top of the road. Try the olive bread, it is absolutely delicious.
Access is easy from the motorway.
The site is in a small village very near the Swiss border. In fact when you drive into Geneva Neydens feels like a suburb.
Visitors can use the sites indoor heated pool but about half a mile away there is a huge shopping and leisure complex with large swimming pools with slides.
We stayed for two nights at the beginning of April and found a really tidy and well maintained site. We received a warm welcome from the owner who was very helpful and spoke good English.
The pitches are of a good size separated by hedging and are hardstanding, which was just as well as the grass was very soft underfoot.
There are views of the mountains towards Geneva.
Only one toilet block was open but it was heated and there was plenty of hot water.
The restaurant was open and although we didn’t eat there it had a good menu.
A lovely well managed site which I thoroughly recommend.
Lovely site with large pitches and very friendly staff. Close to Geneva. We will definitely come back to this site.
We returned to La Colombière for a two week stay after discovering it as a stop-over point last year.
It was as good, if not better than we remembered it. Our pitch looks onto mountains both to the east and the west. The site feels like being in a beautiful park with a variety of splendid trees and shrubs defining each pitch. We had the added bonus of the start of autumn colours.
All members of the Bussat family speak good English and are extremely helpful and friendly. The toilets / showers are kept spotless. The outdoor pool was still at 24 ͦ despite temperatures beginning to fall.
The changing clientel on the site ranges from retirees, like ourselves to young families with babes in arms; this site has something for everyone. Will we come back again? We certainly hope so.
