In southeast France, in the Écrins massif, lies the cosy family campsite of Camping Au Valbonheur. You camp here in a very natural environment, so it almost feels like you are camping in the wild. With swimming lake and private beach and sport opportunities. The camping is situated at the foot of the French Alps. From the highway it is approximately 45 minutes' drive through a green and mountainous region. You will be welcomed with a smile by the owners and employees. The proprietor has owned this campsite since 2015 and does his utmost to make this a real quality campsite.

Special camping between the trees

You will find spacious pitches for your caravan, camper or tent amidst trees, brooks and greenery. The generous pitches ensure a peaceful holiday. In addition, Camping Au Valbonheur offers very special accommodation to stay in. For instance, tepee tents, huts on stilts and igloo huts. You can also spend the night in a chalet or mobile home for a slightly more luxurious feel. This campsite is mainly frequented by families with young children.

Own beach

Camping Au Valbonheur is situated alongside a small lake with private beach with loungers for camping guests. This lake is suitable for swimming, kayaking and canoeing. On the beach you can have a game of volleyball. Children will love the soccer field and the inflatable bouncers.

Travelling party: Couple

Een prachtige camping aan een heerlijk meer. Een van de fijnste campings waar we ooit zijn geweest. Helaas vonden we de omgeving wat beperkt. Weinig leuke stadjes of restaurants in de buurt.

Liked - We hadden een prachtige kampeerplek onder 2 grote bomen, met voldoende schaduw, tijdens de erg warme dagen, tijdens ons verblijf. Mooi zicht op het recreatiemeer, waar het heerlijk vertoeven was.
Disliked - Sanitair: of ijskoud of heet douchen. Kon iets schoner, wel netjes.
Snackbar erg vroeg dicht, voor snacks of pizza, moesten we 15 minuten rijden na 19u.

Liked - We hebben 10 dagen op deze camping verbleven. De kinderen (5-8-11) hebben zich supergoed geamuseerd. Het was er heel warm maar het meertje bracht veel verkoeling. De verhuur van fietsen is top. De omgeving is heel mooi, hoewel je altijd wel eventjes moet rijden.
Disliked - Er is geen broodservice.

Liked - Aanbod om fietsen te huren (ook voor kinderen), uitleendienst van jeu de boules of andere spelletjes. Muziek in één van de sanitaire blokken.
Disliked - De weg naar de rivier, die achter de camping is gelegen was bezaaid met uitwerpselen van honden. Campingsite zelf is wel erg proper. Kampeerplekken aan de riviertjes zijn erg leuk.

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - Ruime plaatsen met schaduw, zwemmeer, beek/rivier voor dammen bouwen en vuurtje stoken/bbq, wandelen vanaf de camping en in de mooie omgeving (Parc des Ecrins en Alpen - huttentochten), rust, activiteitenveld, lekker zelf aan de slag met de kinderen (gelukkig weinig programma) superette op 1 km en La Mure met supermarkten en lekkere restaurantjes op 15 minuten auto, wensen/vragen/klachten worden snel opgepakt, gemêleerd gezelschap, etc.
Disliked - Collega-gasten die er een soms zooitje van maken in het sanitair - er wordt regelmatig schoongemaakt!

Liked - De ruime standplaats, kleine riviertjes die door de camping lopen, het meer, de mooie omgeving, alles samen zorgde dit voor een heerlijk verblijf.
Disliked - Puntje van kritiek: snackbar aan het meer is tijdens de week maar tot 18u geopend.

Liked - Mooie camping met grote 'vrije' plekken in een geweldige omgeving.
Wij hadden een grote plek met veel schaduw.
Disliked - Het werd op een gegeven moment wel heel druk op de camping waar de sanitaire voorzieningen niet altijd op voorbereid waren.
Was niet altijd warm water.

Liked - Ik ben op deze camping opgegroeid. Het voelt altijd als thuiskomen. De ligging van deze camping tussen de bergen is perfect. Een meer om af te koelen direct aan de camping is fantastisch.
Disliked - Het zou misschien fijn zijn dat de springkussens plaats zouden kunnen maken voor een mooie speeltuin voor kinderen. Springkussens zijn namelijk erg warm in de hete zon.

Liked - 8ste keer dat we op deze camping staan. Fijn voor gezin en hond!
Disliked - Erg jammer dat er geen brood op de camping wordt verkocht, terwijl daar wel de mogelijkheden voor zijn. Nieuw zijn ook de onnodige patrouilles van de "bewaking" in de avond in de golfkarretjes die veel lawaai en stof maken. We hebben alleen hier last van gehad!
