In southeast France, in the Écrins massif, lies the cosy family campsite of Camping Au Valbonheur. You camp here in a very natural environment, so it almost feels like you are camping in the wild. With swimming lake and private beach and sport opportunities. The camping is situated at the foot of the French Alps. From the highway it is approximately 45 minutes' drive through a green and mountainous region. You will be welcomed with a smile by the owners and employees. The proprietor has owned this campsite since 2015 and does his utmost to make this a real quality campsite.

Special camping between the trees

You will find spacious pitches for your caravan, camper or tent amidst trees, brooks and greenery. The generous pitches ensure a peaceful holiday. In addition, Camping Au Valbonheur offers very special accommodation to stay in. For instance, tepee tents, huts on stilts and igloo huts. You can also spend the night in a chalet or mobile home for a slightly more luxurious feel. This campsite is mainly frequented by families with young children.

Own beach

Camping Au Valbonheur is situated alongside a small lake with private beach with loungers for camping guests. This lake is suitable for swimming, kayaking and canoeing. On the beach you can have a game of volleyball. Children will love the soccer field and the inflatable bouncers.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Liked - Schaduwplekken supermooi. Beekjes door de camping ideaal voor kinderen en heerlijke natuurlijke koeling (ook voor je flesje wijn ;))
Disliked - Er waren plekken vol in de zon, zonder enige schaduw. Dit zouden wij niet gedaan hebben.
Gele sanitairgebouw vrijwel altijd koud water en de douches werken met een drukknop die na 3 seconden al uit gaat.
Brood enkel te halen in winkeltje welke zoveel hoger ligt dan de camping dat dit niet even te fietsen is. Daarom gaat de halve camping s ochtends al met de auto op pad om brood te halen.

Liked - domein is mooi en prachtig gelegen, sanitaire blik was dit jaar afgewerkt, nieuwe wasbakken voor afwas waren mooi, rustiger op de camping omwille van corona,
Disliked - Het is niet leuk dat we nu al drie jaar na elkaar bij aankomst moeten discussiëren ivm onze standplaats. Bij het reserveren vragen we al heel goed na wat wel en niet kan en wat er nog vrij is, ( zowel telefonisch als via mail) maar bij aankomst blijkt er dan telkens een andere plaats voor ons te zijn. Vervelend omdat we geen gedoe willen, zeker niet na een, lange rit.

Liked - Een fijne plek aan het beekje. Prima service. Leuk voor jonge kinderen. Ondiep meer. Veel wandelmogelijkheden. Vaak wel wat langere afstanden. Goed aangegeven routes vanaf de camping.
Disliked - Jammer dat je op de camping zelf geen brood kon kopen en dat er geen terrasje was waar je koffie kon drinken.

Liked - Mooie camping en mooie omgeving. Lekker meer om bij te recreëren.
Disliked - Onze campingplek was ver weg van het toilet (+/- 400 meter lopen).

Liked - Mooie camping, prachtige ligging tussen de bergen. Voorzieningen zijn ok.
Disliked - Wespennest in sanitair Kiwi heb ik gemeld bij de receptie, is niet verwijderd.
Onze plek (128) was niet beschut tegen wind. Onze tent heeft het een aantal keer behoorlijk te verduren gehad hierdoor.

Liked - Leuke, mooie camping met een fijne sfeer. De beekjes die tussen de plekken stromen waren fantastisch. Fijn meer. Snackbarretje met ijsjes en lekkere friet. Security die zichtbaar is en rondrijdt in de avond. In de avond en ochtend heel stil, prettig.
Disliked - De kinderen hebben een speeltuin gemist. De toiletgebouwen zouden vaker schoongemaakt mogen worden in het hoogseizoen.

Liked - Aanbod om fietsen te huren (ook voor kinderen), uitleendienst van jeu de boules of andere spelletjes. Muziek in één van de sanitaire blokken.
Disliked - De weg naar de rivier, die achter de camping is gelegen was bezaaid met uitwerpselen van honden. Campingsite zelf is wel erg proper. Kampeerplekken aan de riviertjes zijn erg leuk.

Liked - Ruime plaatsen met schaduw, zwemmeer, beek/rivier voor dammen bouwen en vuurtje stoken/bbq, wandelen vanaf de camping en in de mooie omgeving (Parc des Ecrins en Alpen - huttentochten), rust, activiteitenveld, lekker zelf aan de slag met de kinderen (gelukkig weinig programma) superette op 1 km en La Mure met supermarkten en lekkere restaurantjes op 15 minuten auto, wensen/vragen/klachten worden snel opgepakt, gemêleerd gezelschap, etc.
Disliked - Collega-gasten die er een soms zooitje van maken in het sanitair - er wordt regelmatig schoongemaakt!

Liked - We hadden een prachtige kampeerplek onder 2 grote bomen, met voldoende schaduw, tijdens de erg warme dagen, tijdens ons verblijf. Mooi zicht op het recreatiemeer, waar het heerlijk vertoeven was.
Disliked - Sanitair: of ijskoud of heet douchen. Kon iets schoner, wel netjes.
Snackbar erg vroeg dicht, voor snacks of pizza, moesten we 15 minuten rijden na 19u.
