Camping de Mars is beautifully situated in one of the most beautiful parts of Central France: the Loire! The camping site has everything one needs for a carefree holiday for the entire family. There is a heated pool for water fun and some small-scale entertainment for children. Nature lovers will also really feel at home here. It is the only camping site in the vicinity with the label 'Clé Verte' as proof of their sustainable policy.

Mars Peninsula

Camping de Mars lies in a very unusual location, namely on the peninsula with the same name at the heart of the largest meander of the Loire River. From here you have a magnificent view of the river and the resevoir below.

The camping site is located in a quiet and natural setting. This feeling is also reflected in the roomy pitches which have been purposefully kept as natural as possible. There are touring pitches for hikers/cyclists and natural sites without electricity for (tent)campers. Rental units are also provided (basic Trigano-bungalow tents, mobile homes and luxury cottages with covered, wooden veranda).

Restaurant

You can find fresh bread, croissants, beverages, ice cream or a lovely meal in the restaurant. The menu includes barbecue dishes, French fries, pizzas and salads. The terrace offers a glorious view of the Loire. After dinner you are treated to a lovely sunset. There is a small supermarket on the premises.

Sport and games

Children will enjoy themselves on the trampoline and bouncing cushion at camping site De Mars. Other activities: games, table tennis, jeu de boules, beach volleyball and table football. There is a small-scale entertainment team that organises all kinds of activities (archery tournaments and visits to an educative farm).
