Large campsites with a great deal of privacy

The campsites vary in size, between 200 and 250 m2. To ensure that there is sufficient quiet and privacy during your camping holiday in Normandy, the campsites are separated by high hedges. In addition, the sites are partially paved with gravel and also have grass. There are pitches in the sun, or you can choose a shady site, it is up to you.

Do you not require electricity during the holiday? Then choose a site with a beautiful view of the Seine. In addition to comfortable camping at Château de Bouafles, you can also enjoy glamping here. There are several Coco Sweets on the campground. These are fully furnished tents.

A simply wonderful campsite, so helpful and friendly, showers are very good, lots of hot water. We will go back there as it is perfect for relaxation

Really good pitches for motorhomes including hook up and water on pitch. Quiet and picturesque by the river Seine. Lots of statics but very well kept and spacious. Everyone friendly. Just over 10 km from motorway. Slight incline into site. Nearest supermarket was 5km but bread available daily. Good price.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Our family (kids aged 4 and 6) stayed at this campsite for 5 days in the summer of 2016. It is a very (very) quiet site, we were one of the only tourist groups with most of the pitches being held by French families and retired couples.
We swam in the river which was fun (although you have to be prepared to walk through the squelchy muddy bottom), played in the playpark, played on the crazy golf and ate ice cream from the reception.
This is a very calm, chilled out site - we absolutely loved the peace and quiet and it made a lovely start to our holiday.

Travelling party: Seniors

The campsite is mainly for residential caravans.
It is a long narrow site with the furthest part siding on to the river Seine. We spent both evenings sitting on the floating pontoon with cold beers watching the passing cruise and merchant ships.
We were in the middle of the site so had quite a walk to the toilets and reception for our morning baguette.

Travelling party: Seniors

This site was not easy to find. The entrance was on such a slope that our caravan(7.5m) bottomed out during entry and exit from the site. There receptionist spoke very little English. The site is made up mainly of statics with caravan pitches dotted amongst them. Most of these would be inaccessible to longer outfits. We had the last pitch which was some distance from reception (30 mins walk there and back) and cassette emptying facility. There was a water tap on the pitch and also an electric supply which was a cable which came out of the ground which you plugged into. There was no sign of where the trip point was. The river Seine was on the sites boundary which could be seen from a floating jetty where some of the camps residents were fishing.
