Perfect stop over place, small site no frills. The town is within a very short walking distance, where we ate in a lovely pizzeria.
The town is wonderful and more than makes up for the basic site. The showers and toilets are ok, need a good clean or refurb.

Arrived at site at 13.40 sign on reception said open 4 until 6 gate was locked so found a kind lady who took us to find man who run site, who sitting in his awning at the table when we asked if we could check in he very rudely said NO ! and pointed at his empty dinner plate I take this as a sign he was about to eat his lunch, when we asked if we could just have the code for the gate so we could get in and get settles after our long journey he pointed back at his plate and said NO !!!.how rude customer service comes efore a Frenchman and his lunch !!

Travelling party: Seniors

Very basic campsite with old dark toilet facilities. No seats on toilets in the old french style. Nice situation beside river with easy access to town high street. Not convenient for Rouen, despite other reviewers recommending bus ride.

Travelling party: Seniors

Excellent river side site with good sized pitches at a very reasonable price. A 5' walk takes you right to the town centre with all of its facillities.

We can only echo the previous posts, great site, lovely staff, sweet village. We ate at the Plaisir Gourmand restaurant, 63 euros for 2, with 4 courses and wine, superb!!!

This is an excellent little site. The location is attractive next to the river and overlooked by ancient battlements. The village is very attractive, with good shops and well worth a visit. The site is also convenient for visiting Rouen, which we did by bus from a stop nearby, guided by the lady on reception who was extremely helful at all times. The pitches were well spaced and well maintained, as were the facilities. I would strongly recommend this site.

Travelling party: Family with children, various ages

Nice campsite near the city center.
There is available internet access (orange - 1 hour per device free).
Shower cabins is pretty old, but clean and with hot watter availability, toilets not very comfortable.
In conclusion I strongly recomend to stay in this camp for good price and quality comparison.

As said in the review below, we returned on our way back north and stayed for three days. As we were expecting, we thoroughly enjoyed out stay on our pitch next to the river.
Our visit to Rouen was most enjoyable with a lot to see and much to learn. Visiting the cathedral is a must, regardless of your religion. The cast iron spire is awe inspiring.
Be careful of your approach to the site. Don't follow your sat-nav through the tiny streets, especially if you are towing a caravan.

This is a lovely site. It is not particularly big, but is well laid out and you are not cramped up with fellow visitors. The small town is very close and a great pleasure to visit.
The welcome we received was exceptional. We had electricity on the pitch was within easy reach and the facilities were close and extremely well maintained. For those with children, there is a play area. The trees were in bloom when we were there and the planting has been very well thought out.
We were so impressed that we have changed our itinerary to spend a few more days there on the way back.

We thoroughly recommend this site.
