Camping Riva Bella is situated along the canal from Ouistreham to Caen. This former municipal camping of substantial proportions is situated in the heart of a protected nature reserve. You will be warmly welcomed by Katja, the manager, to this green and well maintained campsite.

We stayed two nights at the site before taking the ferry to Portsmouth. The site is well maintained and has adequate sanitary facilities. It is very convenient for the ferry as it is only 10 minutes from the terminal.

we have stayed at this site many times prior to catching the morning ferry. this time however 27 October 23 we were turned away and advised it was reservations only. the site looked empty. I think the app should be updated!

Good site for a few days prior to or after the ferry. Good to note that if you arrive on the late ferry security is there to let you in. Ouistreham is a nice town. worth a day or two and there are several WW2 sites locally. you can ride along the canal into Caen taking in Pegasus bridge along the way.

camp Ferme, closed due to reconstruction. unsure when opening again, when it does, we\'ll be there............................

Just arrived at camp and is under reconstruction. why is this site shown as available ? FERME for the foreseeable months. we will visit again when announced the camp is open. OUVERT
