At the tip of the Ile de Ré, behind the dunes and close to the beautiful sandy beach of La Conche, lies Camping La Plage. From this friendly, popular campsite you have a beautiful view of the Le Phare des Baleines lighthouse. Holiday makers like to come here throughout the year because of the mild climate and the large number of sun hours.

Great for exploring the western end of the island. Smaller site near the lighthouse and some spectacular beaches. Nice staff. Great pool, bar and restaurant. Toilets and showers look smarter than they actually are, but they are clean and more than useable. It’s got a sauna and a steam room too, which was nice. Pitches quite open.
