At the heart of the Bremen, Hamburg, Hanover triangle you will find Camping Park Lüneburger Heide. This campsite has been designed to resemble a park, with numerous small gardens, planting and even two themed gardens: the music garden and heather garden. The campsite has fully equipped modern bathrooms. For a snack, head to the campsite restaurant, which cooks tasty dishes using local produce.

The camping pitches on this family campsite are spacious and have been separated from one another by hedges, flowers and trees. A separate area in front of the campsite has been set aside especially for motorhomes, and you can check in 24 hours a day by machine. For those who want to camp right next to the water, caravans that sit on the shores of the lake are available for hire.

Build sandcastles and feed animals

On a warm day, there's nothing nicer than being able to cool off in the water, and the lake next to the campsite is perfect for it! There is a large sandy beach where you can build sandcastles, plus a sunbathing lawn. For the children, there is small farm that is home to goats, chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs — children are welcome to come and help with feeding between 4 and 5 pm every day.

The Lüneburg Heath

A stay on this campsite would not be complete without a visit to the Lüneburg Heath. There is a pick-up point next to the campsite for the 'Heide Shuttle', which takes guests to the heart of the Heath free of charge. In high season, night owls can also visit the Heath in the evenings with a ranger. All excursions are organised from the campsite and are suitable for the whole family.

Travelling party: Seniors

Schon bei der Ankunft spürt man, dass dieser Camping Platz mit Herz und Seele angelegt wurde. Die Vielfältigkeit der Gartenanlagen, das Restaurant und verschiedene Spielplätze laden herzlich ein. Die Stellplätze sind mit Hecken abgetrennt und bieten somit Privatsphären. Stromanschluss, Trink – und Abwasser sind direkt am Stellplatz. Die Sanitären Anlagen sind der absolute Hammer! Komfortable Familienbäder, keine Duschmünzen erforderlich, barrierefreie und seniorengerechte Badezimmer und sehr, sehr sauber; möchte ich hier auch erwähnen!

Wir waren schon mehrmals auf diesem Campingplatz im Frühjahr und im Herbst. Der Platz ist zu jeder Jahreszeit sehr gepflegt in in einem TOP-Zustand. Die Parzellen haben alle Strom und überwiegend Wasser und Abwasser und sind sehr großzügig geschnitten. Die Sanitäranlagen werden täglich mehrfach gereinigt. Es gibt großzügige Familienbäder. Auf dem Platz gibt es einen Brötchenservice, einen kleinen Shop in der Rezeption und ein gutes Restaurant (Reservierung aber empfohlen). Die Heide ist mit kurzen Wegen zu erreichen.

Travelling party: Couple

Das wichtigste vorweg: Wir haben uns in einer Woche sehr gut erholt und sind mit Wehmut abgereist. Wer die Ruhe und ein ansprechendes Ambiente liebt, ist hier richtig. Auf diesem Platz gibt es so viele schöne Details, die mit ganz viel Herzblut errichtet wurden. Ich denke zum Beispiel an die Heuhäuser, den Streichelzoo und überhaupt die gesamte Bepflanzung im Bereich des Sees sowie um die Rezeption herum. Es ist einfach nur schön. Aus meiner Sicht ist dieser Platz besonders gut für ruhesuchende Gäste geeignet. Teenager, die vielleicht in der Übermüdigkeit des Teenagern-Daseins sind, dürften dagegen weniger Freude finden, meine ich. Wer nämlich „Action“ sucht, ist hier definitiv falsch. Die gepflegten Stellplätze verfügen über einen Frischwasser- sowie Abwasseranschluss. Dies ist für uns wichtig. Zwei Sanitärgebäude waren blitzblank sauber. Unter Corona-Bedingungen war überall für Hygiene gesorgt. Die Brötchen, welche man am Vortag bestellen kann, sind allesamt schmackhaft. Mit Hund kann man die Morgen- sowie Abendrunde unmittelbar vom Platz aus beginnen. Eine Hundedusche steht zur Verfügung. Allerdings eignet diese sich nur für kleine Hunde, denn große Hunde können sich in der Waschrinne in Oberschenkelhöhe nicht drehen und schon gar nicht rückwärts herunterlaufen. Einen nassen großen Hund möchte man als Hundebesitzer natürlich auch nicht herausheben. Seitliches Rausspringen des großen Hundes sorgt für Verletzungsgefahr. WLAN steht kostenlos zur Verfügung, funktioniert jedoch nicht konstant und ständig und wenn ja, dann ist es geeignet, um Mails abzufragen, mehr jedoch nicht. Selbst zum Arbeiten war mir das zu wenig. Allerdings waren mobile Daten (4G) bei einem Vodafone-Vertrag nahezu konstant verfügbar. Bereits vor der Anreise gab es mehrfach Kontakt wegen den Corona-Einschränkungen. Hier wurde jederzeit verbindlich, klar und wertschätzen kommuniziert. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Wir waren mit unseren Enkeln im August auf dem Campingplatz.
Unser Standplatz war sehr groß und das neuere Sanitärgebäude mit den Familienbädern gefiel uns besonders. Der Eingangsbereich mit seinen verschiedenen Gärten ist sehr liebevoll angelegt und es gibt für Kinder viele Möglichkeiten. Auch für die Hunde gibt es extra einen Auslauf.
Wir kommen gerne wieder !
