The camping is situated in Kurort Seiffen. This town is located in the eastern part of the Ore Mountains close to the Czech border. Seiffen is well-known for its wood carvings. Not only can you buy carvings, you are also able to see how they are made. When you visit Ferienpark Seiffen in December, the village of Seiffen is totally immersed in the Christmas atmosphere. There is a very lively Christmas market, where you will find the wood carvings again, of course.

The location of the camping forms an ideal base for making day trips to major cities in Germany and the Czech Republic such as Dresden and Prague.

Camping in the Ore Mountains

Between the hills, at a height of approx. 700 m, you will find the green Seiffen Ferienpark with a view of the Ore Mountains. The section with the camping pitches is laid out in terraces with the rental accommodations and facilities in another section. Most of the camping pitches have electricity and water.

Cross-country skiing and tobogganing

The camping is very suitable for both summer and winter campers. There are various well-marked hiking and mountain biking routes which give way to cross-country skiing in winter. In addition, there is a ski lift just a few km away. In summer you can do the toboggan run.

Wellness facilities at the hotel

Campers are also allowed to use the wellness facilities of the associated hotel.

Feirenpark Seiffen has a mini-golf course, soccer pitch and playground. You can spend lovely evenings at the campfire and grill area. Furthermore, you can enjoy a game of table tennis, darts, billiards, or relax in the TV lounge. There is a play room for children and various games are available for the young.

Travelling party: Seniors

We hebben 3 weken op de camping gestaan de omgeving is mooi maar de toiletten werden heel slecht schoon gehouden daar bij waren de papieren handdoekjes al dagen op , we hebben bijna 3 dagen zonder warm water gezeten. Dus deze camping wordt het niet meer.

Travelling party: Couple

Mooie rustige camping met ruime plaatsen op een berg. In het weekend is het wat drukker. Prima geschikt voor de wat oudere kampeerder. Voor ouders met kinderen niet direct een aanrader. Er is voor hen niet zo veel te doen. Alleen de wegen in de buurt en naar de camping zijn soms erg smal.

Travelling party: Seniors

Een hele rustige en mooi aangelegde camping in het Ertzgebergte tegen de grens met Tsjechië met grote plaatsen. De receptie was in het naastgelegen
Ahorn hotel. Mooie omgeving, met name voor wandelaars; minder voor fietsers ivm heuvelachtige omgeving. Een aanrader voor mensen die rust zoeken.
+ Dichtbij grens met Tsechië. Net over de grens zijn een benzinestation en een aantal winkels waar de prijzen lager zijn dan in Duitsland.
- De reistijd naar grotere plaatsen in de omgeving is nogal lang.
