The campsite Gythion Bay is located on the south coast of the Greek Peloponnese region, right on the beach and the Mediterranean Sea. On this beach campsite, you are camping in the shadow of orange and olive trees. With a luxurious outdoor swimming pool looking out on to the beach, a restaurant with a terrace under the olive trees and modern sanitation, this Greek campsite is complete.

Camping in the orchard

With your tent or caravan among the olive trees: at the Gythion Bay campsite, you camp the Greek way. The campsite is located in a large orchard, where olive trees, orange trees, fig trees and nut trees alternate with each other. They provide shady spots, but some of the three hundred touring sites are also in the sun. You can camp right on the beach, on demarcated pitches.

Mediterranean Sea

From the swimming pool, you have a view over the beach and the Mediterranean Sea. Beach and campsite are separated from each other by a fence, but you'll just walk through the gate and have your feet in the sand. There is space for everyone on the broad sandy beach. There is a beach volleyball pitch for everyone who wants to play a round. Or dive into the clear water of the Mediterranean Sea.

Restaurant and mini-market

The restaurant is just near the beach and the swimming pool. Here you can enjoy a Greek meal on the terrace in the shadow of the olive trees. Or have a glass of wine or cocktail and enjoy the long summer evenings. Next to the terrace, there is also a cosy bar where you can toast your holiday.

Sehr freundliches Personal und ausgezeichnete Küche - selbst in der zu Ende gehenden Saison. Sanitäranlagen wurden regelmässig - auch am frühen Morgen gereinigt. Der Pool wurde jeden Morgen gereinigt und die Liegen waren immer bereit. Der direkte Zugang zum Strand mit der Möglichkeit für lange Spaziergänge mit Hund war gegeben. Wir waren ohne Kinder aber haben gesehen, dass es zwei Spielplätze gibt- für Kleinere und Grössere. Und zuletzt gab es noch einen Shop, wo man täglich bestes Brot und anderes kaufen konnte. Wir denken: das war perfekt.

Wir haben heuer zwei Mal den Campingplatz besucht. Im September war alles perfekt und es gab auch ausreichend Stellplätze. Mitte Oktober waren wir etwas enttäuscht: wir wurden (wie alle anderen auch) in den Patz hereingelassen um uns selbst einen Stellplatz zu suchen. Leider war der Platz für größere Wohnmobile (ab 7 Meter) überfüllt und wir mussten uns zwischen Olivenbäume durchzwängen um mittendrin irgendwie stehen zu können. Vielen gelang das nicht so leicht und holten sich ordentliche Kratzer am Wohnmobil.

Auf unserer Griechenlandrundreise , mit unserem Wohnmobil , haben wir einen Zwischenstopp in Gythion gemacht. Waren sehr begeistert von der gesamten Anlage. Auch das Restaurant mit seinen tollen, griechischen Speisen hat uns sehr angetan.Wir kommen wieder

Sehr ordentliche, saubere Sanitäranlsgen, immer ausreichend heißes Wasser- trotz fast voller Belegung im Oktober! Tolle Poolanlage.
WLAN leider unbrauchbar - sollte stark verbessert werden mit Zugang auf der gesamten Anlage. (getaktetes öffentliches Netz leider ebenfalls sehr langsam)

Wir haben hier einige Tage verbracht und haben großes Lob für die Hilfsbereitschaft nach einer Panne. Danke nochmals. Ansonsten auch alles was wir benutzt haben topp! Restaurant zu empfehlen. Das eigen produzierte Olivenöl ist super. Alle sehr freundlich und alles sauber!

Sehr gepflegter, kinderfreundlicher Platz mit sehr großzügig bemessenen, unmarkierten Parzellen. Es wird viel für die Sauberkeit getan, auch wenn nicht mehr viele Gäste da sind. Der Untergrund ist eigentlich Wiese unter (Oliven-)Bäumen, im Herbst dementsprechend weniger Wiese, dafür mehr herab gefallene Oliven, die sich aber leicht zusammen kehren lassen. Letzter Tag der eigenen “Taverne” war der 24.10. aber gute Lage zu Gythio, das sehr viel bietet.
