Hungry Hill Lodge & Camping is easy to reach and is located near the Irish Adrigole, in Adrigole Bay, part of the municipality of Munster. The area is called the Ring of Bantry and is unique with its 'jagged' coastline, numerous inlets and coves. You can expect a large number of harbours and coastal towns here. This family camping site at the foot of the Healy Pass also marks the beginning of the Beara Way hiking trail.
Space and greenery
Upon arrival you will see a neat and well maintained terrain, with groomed grass surface. It is intersected with wide pathways, partly paved and partly gravel. There are some fifty touring pitches available and there is room for twenty motorhomes (on paved surface). The grounds are quite open, but there are also pitches (especially on the boundary) with shrubbery and trees. The pitches are demarcated and measure between 80 and 100 m2.
Camping and B&B combined
There is an attractive rental log cabin (suitable for up to four persons). It is tastefully furnished, with remarkably beautiful bedding. Enjoy the fresh air on the small porch. The camping site owners also manage a Bed & Breakfast. You can stay in one of the apartments, located in a slightly older stone building.
Prepare your own dinner or cooking together
The building where you can prepare your meals is a communal cooking and eating area, adjacent to the reception. It has a homely, spacious and fully-equipped kitchen with a large dining table. There is a small shop with local products. During weekends, barbecue meals are a regular feature at the communal barbecue area.
