The major attraction of the small-scale and quiet Lakeview Cannobio Camping & Resort (ex Camping Bosco) is the splendid view over Lago Maggiore with the surrounding mountain scenery. It is only a short distance away from the convivial little town of Cannobia. The campsite is particularly suited for tent campers and couples; the campsite is not quite as suitable for families with small children and teenagers. You will find a large number of German and Dutch campers here.

Terraced campsite

The shaded grounds are of a modest size and extremely suitable for tent campers, although caravans and mobile homes can also be accommodated. The camping pitches are situated on terraces and vary in size. The pitches are not marked and have a grassy surface. The rental accommodations (mobile homes) are somewhat dated, but very clean. The campsite is situated along a busy road; especially in morning peak hours, this may cause some noise nuisance. The sanitary facilities are slightly dated, but look neat and tidy and are within easy reach for all.

Private beach

The Lago Maggiore is close by: it is a few minutes' walk via an underpass of the main road to the private grassy beach with a wide choice of free sun loungers. The lake is ideal for swimming. Windsurfing, whitewater kayaking, rafting and waterskiing are also possible and allowed here. Tip: please bring your water shoes as there are pebbles in the water. There are but few facilities on the camping grounds.

Small camping shop

There is a small shop for daily necessities and a bar. A bread service is also available. In Cannabio, at a 10-minute drive from the campsite, there are two supermarkets and a lively promenade with numerous sidewalk cafés and restaurants. You will need a car (or bicycle) to get to Cannobio.

Travelling party: Seniors

slechtste camping die ik tot nu toe bezocht heb, vieze was en toilet gelegenheden personeel dat alleen maar Duits of Engels sprak als alles goed was maar bij klachten spraken ze alleen maar Italiaans, winkel die eigenlijk die naam niet verdiend alleen maar drank en een beetje kaas en chips, dus als je iets wilde moest je naar het dorp wandelen wat ongeveer 30 tot 45 minuten wandelen was langs een zeer gevaarlijke weg dit omdat we met een Camper waren en de tocht dus alleen te voet of eventueel een taxi huren konden maken terwijl op de site van de camping staat dat er wel een supermarktje is en een leuk barretje/restaurant, maar helaas was dit allemaal dicht en wat je kon zien ook al enige tijd niet meer open geweest, stoffig en vies
