This was by far, the most memorable campsite from our 3 week tour of Europe.
The staff gave us a really friendly welcome even though we hadn\'t booked and gave us a brilliant spot for our one night stay, right on the lake front.
My 4 year old daughter and I had an amazing time swimming in the lake. She also loved the playground, trying to make friends with some of the other children (even though they didn\'t speak the same language). The seating area was great, situated right next to the playground.
The food was cheap but really tasty, just what my daughter wanted as she loved the pasta.
We visited this site on our way to campitello and I have to say it was possibly the worst site I have ever been on we were crammed in to a tiny corner the site shop had nothing in it the showers were rubbish there was no hot water to wash your pots in just a cold tap it was just a very poor site avoid if possible
The site is well placed with good lakeside views, however the pitches are not well defined. On the 3 nights we stayed we had people pitched in front of our van, making it uneasy when we were eating. The site only has 3amp electrics, OK for tents, but useless for modern UK caravans. We blew them as soon as we put the kettle on for a cup of tea. The toilets are old and in need of refurbishment. The site was one of the most expensive on our 6 week tour, although ACSI checked it does not offer the lower out of season prices that is the reason for the success of ACSI. We will not aty here agin if in the Lake Como area.
nice campground. staff very friendly and helpful. facilities a little dated, but clean and functional. the lake is very beautiful and campground is convenient to city, but this comes with the noise from city.
