Montorfano Campsite is a large yet cosy Italian campsite. You'll be camping in the Como region, ten kilometres from the famous Lake Como. Lake Montorfano is even closer. Dive into the clear natural waters to enjoy that real holiday experience in Italy. You can also splash around in the beautiful swimming pool at the campsite itself. The kids will have a great time doing this as well! The trees and hedges surrounding your camping pitch will afford you plenty of privacy.

Lombardy Lake District

Montorfano Campsite is located in the middle of the lakes. Lake Como is the largest and most famous lake in the Italian Lombardy region. But there are more bodies of water in this region just below Switzerland. Lake Montorfano, for example, near the town of the same name. The campsite is located on the outskirts of this area. A long lane leads you to the cosy reception building. There you'll be welcomed with open arms.

Camping in privacy

Despite Montorfano Campsite's large size, you'll have no trouble finding peace and quiet here. If you want it, that is. There is always a pitch offering plenty of privacy among the trees and hedges. But there are also open spaces on beautifully maintained lawns. Thus, there is a pitch to suit every camper's needs.

Liked - Easy to find and close to lakes
Disliked - Trees made difficult to get into pitch as cars parked inappropriately by other residents

Liked - Stayed 2 nights on a spacious pitch as site not busy at time of year. Good sanitary block. Friendly reception.

Disliked - Site looked scruffy when first driving through permanent caravan/ chalets some were unkempt .

Liked - Friendly and helpful staff who were really accommodating to our needs. Shower and toilet block were exceptionally clean and the cleaning ladies were lovely.
