Amidst nature, at an elevation of some five hundred metres, lies Campsite Royal. On this peaceful campsite, you will be camping on shaded pitches which are mostly separated by bushes or deciduous trees. Due to the relatively high altitude of the campsite, you have a glorious view over nearby Lake Orta from many spots. Fantastic!

Camping in all peace and quiet

Camping Royal only has sixty pitches: thirty permanent pitches and thirty touring pitches. Three of these are specifically for motorhomes. If you arrive without camping equipment, you can rent one of the seven bungalows or mobile homes. The camping pitches are laid out with respect for the natural surroundings. Even though they are not excessively large, they offer ample privacy. The sanitary facilities are very clean.

Swimming pool and other entertainment

The swimming pool on the campsite is not very large or deep (only 1.20 m), but is very tidy. It is a spot where you can cool off and relax. There is lots to do for children. There is, for instance, a playground with some equipment: slides and swings.

You can indulge in sports at the table tennis table, the pétanque pitch or the multi-sports field. No inspiration at the moment? The entertainment team organises all kinds of simple but fun activities in the evenings. There is also a disco evening every now and then.

Going out for a meal or barbecuing at the campsite

On the campsite is a camping shop for basic groceries. You can buy fresh bread each morning. There is also a bar. Some 100 metres from the campsite you will find the charming Madonna della Neve restaurant. You can make use of the barbecues in the communal barbecue area.
