Do you like surfing, mountain biking, walking or moutaineering? If so, Camping Maroadi, located on the northern shores of Lake Garda, is an excellent choice. The nearby centre of Torbole with its lively promenade and restaurants, the direct access to the lake and the beautiful mountain landscapes of the Dolomites offer a wide choice of opportunities for camping guests.
The camping site was completely renovated last year. Most of the pitches are located in streets next to each other and are demarcated with bushes. There is ample shade and you have water connections and drainage. The most beautiful pitches are located by the lake and offer a superb view. Want to hire something? There are also beautiful mobile homes and apartments available!
The country's largest lake
The camping site is located on the largest lake in Italy and has direct access to a pebble beach. There is a walking and cycling path between the camping site and the beach. The lake is very suitable for sailing, surfing and other water sports. Adjacent to the camping site is a mooring jetty, a slipway and a sailing/surfing school where you can also hire equipment.
Sports terrain and Bike Shuttle Service
There is a multifunctional sports terrain and a playground on the camping site. Further entertainment is available in the form of an entertainment programme for adults and bicycle hire (first three hours free). The camping site offers a Bike Shuttle Service and a repair service for mountain bikers.
Shop and bar
The camping shop is small, but well stocked. Adjacent to the shop is a bar (with terrace) where you can also order small dishes.

Great place for cycling and watersports enthusiasts and there is also lots of pretty hiking and some climbing and via ferrata in the area. The outdoors appeal helps to create a nice relaxed and cool atmosphere. If you want a very quiet atmosphere to read without activity going on around you then maybe it would suit you less and another part of the lake would be better. The facilities are the best in over 100 sites we have used and of a health club standard. There is even a doggie bath/shower which is a welcome change given the charges for dogs at most EU sites but no facilities for that charge. Nice restaurant/bar and a well stocked small shop on site with Lidl only 100 yards to walk from the campsite. Great surroundings with cliffs rising from the water and a nice pebble beach to sit and watch all the water activity. If you have dogs then they must be kept on a lead in all areas along the water until 16th September which would be a pain and the site also charges e4 per dog which is very steep but no charge after the same date. The pitches are a little small but there is a separate on site parking area at no extra charge for the first vehicle which negates that single criticism. I would still have to grade the pitches 5* as they have personal water and waste and are kept in exemplory condition. Prices are a little above average but worth it for location and quality.
The staff are also very nice and couldn't have been more accommodating when we needed a delivery accepted.
