Camping Fusina is situated near the urbanised industrial area on the mainland opposite Venice. Not the most attractive setting, but most practical for a visit to the famous Italian city. In fact, from the camping site you can step onto the vaporetto, the water bus that takes you to this illustrious town. It is precisely for this reason that camping guests from all over the world come to this camping site. Camping Fusina offers a shuttle bus service to various places, including Marco Polo Airport (Venice) and Canova Airport (Treviso).

International visitors

The road to the camping site is characterised by docks, industry and highway on and off ramps. However, once you have reached the camping site, you find yourself in an exceptionally green oasis beyond the industrial area. The camping site consists of a lawn with tall deciduous trees. There are no demarcated pitches; you can choose your own spot. The rental accommodations (mobile homes) are fully occupied throughout the year with tourists from all over the world.

Only the strictly necessary

The camping site has a beautiful swimming pool. The other amenities on the camping site are strictly in the catering sphere. Hence, there is a bar, pizzeria, Biergarten and smaller restaurant with a slightly more sophisticated menu. There is also a camping shop for the daily necessities. The camping site is popular with young people, so the evenings tend to get quite lively...

You are here only for one reason

It is obvious that Fusina is not a camping site to spend your entire holiday. It is however, an ideal camping site for a visit to Venice, close to the mooring of line 16 of the vaporetta, which takes you across every hour.

De camping ligt aan de lagune van Venetie. Er komen enorme zeeschepen langs je caravan en dat is zeer enerverend. Eigen verrdienst naar Venetie

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Zeer vriendelijk personeel en excellente ontvangst. De campingplaats kies je gewoon zelf uit. Er is geen discipline in verband met het selecteren van je plaats maar ben er nog niet uit of dit goed of slecht is in dit geval, er is genoeg voor iedereen. Zon of schaduw. Weinig mensen blijven langer dan één of twee dagen denk ik. Ferry naar Venetië is super handig. Het personeel zou ik 5 sterren geven maar jammer genoeg gooide de serveerster in de beergarten roet in het eten. Ik bestelde een 4 seizoenen pizza. Er kwam een pizza met slechts twee toppings ipv vier. Toen ik vroeg waarom ik een twee seizoenen pizza kreeg i.p.v. vier haalde ze ongeïnteresseerd haar schouders op en wees naar mijn olijven en zei, " drie seizoenen"... Het kon haar geen barst schelen.
Spijtig dat ze afbreuk doet aan al haar collega's.

De camping ligt helaas vlakbij een raffinaderij die 24/7 operationeel is. Ze verbranden daar gassen en het is ongelooflijk hoeveel lawaai dat maakt. Geen geur hinder.

Camping winkeltje is extreem duur terwijl eten en drinken in de beer garten zeer acceptabel zijn.

Sanitair, goede standaard en net.

Conclusie, ideaal om Venetië te bezoeken, lang verblijf raden we af. Buiten Venetië is er absoluut niets!

In de omgeving van de camping alleen maar industriegebied maar een prachtige locatie om Venetië te bezoeken, een half uur met de boot die ongeveer vanaf de camping vertrekt.

De omgeving heeft drie sterren gekregen, omdat de ligging op zich niet zo geweldig is. Wat wel geweldig is, is het uitzicht op Venetië en de lagune. Leuke nette camping met super-verbinding per boot naar Venetië. De muggen krijg je inclusief. :)
