Highly recommended. Extremely impressed with this site. Staff were very welcoming, helpful and efficient. Great facilities and very clean. An amazing bargain and no hidden charges for anything. Showers, wifi, electricity all included. All so straightforward. Also provide 16 amps which we were grateful for. Setting is lovely with trees surrounding the site and amongst the pitches, providing some shade. Great children\'s playground. Was very busy when we were there but there was a calm and peaceful atmosphere.

Stayed for 2 days friendly staff, toilets showers very good and clean pitch size also very good easy to book a pitch as well. Good public transport (bus) into Luxembourg City the bus stop is only a 5 min walk from site. Good value for money well worth a stay.

Was really impressed with this site and was fantastic value incl electricity for my VW T4 camper and a small tent. Wifi was free with no security and excellent coverage. Bus to and from city was right outside the site on main road. Would definitely stay here again

We visited Camping Kockelscheuer in may 2016.
We were travelling with a car and a caravan. We also had a tent.
Area Fuse burned down 3 times. The staff guided us to use another electricity pole in neighbors empty pich. Then an electricity go well.
The weekend the area get full and we had to give up acting electric current.
However we needed electricity. We tried to find out is the fault rectified. The staff did not explain things. They announced that the fault is in us.
However, the electrical work on the adjacent.
They said to us that we are them a problem. We got two options. Either we dismantle the tent and we change pich or we start off. We intended to spend long time here.
The staff got angry and behaved agressively when we wanted electricity.
Camping area was no more than one toilet and shower building for use. Although sanitary facilities were closed during siesta.
The showers were very bad. They work of a button just 3-4 seconds at a time.
Camping also restricted our movement by car. The gate could not get out of the siesta time. We are regular customers over many years.
The change of ownership has worsened service.

We stayed here on the way to and from our final destination in Germany.
It\'s really close to the motorway, and easy to find.
Staff were friendly and helpful and the showers etc were clean and well looked after.
We drove into the centre of Lux, but there are busses just outside the entrance.
Pitch was level and water available next to most pitches.

Very friendly staff who on arrival gave us lots of information about the city. Luxembourg card is a must if stay for a few days. Large pitch with all facilities close by. Small shop but with most essentials. Bus stop close to site and buses very frequent. Would definitely visit again.

Very poor staff. I arrived by motorcycle on a very wet evening only to be told there was no room for a tent. Although i pointed out that it was getting dark, raining and there was nowhere else to go, they insisted there was no room for a small tent and motorcycle.
Someone in the queue took pity on me and allowed me to camp on their pitch but the site charged me the full price of a camper van and electricity.
When on the site, I found it was only half full, when I went back to the reception and pointed this out, the same staff said they now had room for a tent, they were totally unembarrassed and wouldn\'t reimburse me.

The pitch was waterlogged and the toilets were closed for long periods for \'cleaning\'.

Horrible site, horrible people. never again.

Pleasant overnight campsite with good facilities and friendly staff. Easy access for larger units. Good base to explore Luxembourg City. Visited out of high season so we couldn\'t comment on food or drink.

Camp is on a very nice location. Toilet facilites are clean and spacious. There are nice outdoor tables (with seats) available for those who arrive with a tent. Showers are free of charge. Price is very low for what the campsite offers.
