The De Wiltzangh Holiday Park is located in the woods between Ruinen, Ansen and Dwingeloo, not far from the Dwingelderveld National Park. The camping site is less than 2.5 km from the always charming village green of Ruinen in Drenthe. De Wiltzangh is surrounded by extensive heathlands and forests and numerous characteristic Drenthe villages. This makes it an ideal base for long hiking and cycling tours in the wider surrounding area.

Holiday park
De Wiltzangh is not just a camping site – it also has a camper park, bungalows and holiday homes. There is also a petting zoo with an animal enclosure and a swimming pool. All this forms a beautiful whole, with peace, space and nature. The motto of the province, 'Drenthe really does something to you' finds its true expression here.
The camping pitches are beautiful and spacious and the rental accommodations are exceptional. For instance, you can rent a shepherd's hut, a forest house, and a Hansel and Gretel cottage. Because the park is located in a forest, all the pitches have plenty of shade and you enjoy a lot of privacy.
Activities
On sunny days you can use the heated swimming pool (with paddling pool) or participate in one of the many activities that are organized at De Wiltzangh, especially for children, such as hut building, taking care of animals at the petting zoo and following a gnome trail.
Restaurant
The De Wiltzangh Holiday Park has a cosy restaurant with a small and a large menu with various special regional dishes (open from Friday to Sunday and also on Thursdays in high season ). When the weather is nice, you can sit out on the charming terrace. You can also go for a snack and a drink in Ruinen itself.
