Veluwe camping De Pampel is a unique camping situated amidst woodland. You camp here on a spacious camping pitch or spend the night in a luxury farmhouse or lodge tent. On this special campsite for children you can look for deer in the deer forest, swim in the pool and so much more. The campsite is situated in the nature area De Veluwe, centrally between Arnhem, Apeldoorn and Ede. It is a beautiful woodland and you camp here between high trees on green lawns.
On the lawns are spacious camping pitches, some of which have private sanitary facilities. You have a selection of lively lawns or pitches with more privacy. There are also some pitches in the middle of the woods. The campsite is also familiar with the concept of 'glamping'. Camping in style can be done in one of the wood lodges, forest lodges or farmhouses. There is even a farmhouse with wellness facilities, including a whirlpool bath and infrared sauna.
Children reign supreme
Camping guests that are pampered most of all, are the children. The campsite is very suitable for children under 12, but the older generation will also enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility of the area.
The theme of the campsite is 'woodland'. And not just because of the area and the deer forest -where deer roam freely- but also because the buildings and facilities play a part in this. In the swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), for instance, you can climb on tree trunks and even on an island.

What a beautiful site set in the forest cycle tracks for miles staff friendly and helpful
We loved this large site, set in the lovely woods of the Hoge Veluwe National Park near Hoenderloo village. Although it looked busy, we found a quiet pitch tucked away among the trees. The ACSI Card price was a bargain.
It has excellent modern clean facilities. There is a heated indoor pool, as well as an outdoor pool, and cycle paths in all directions. The snack bar has chips, ices, etc and there is a more formal restaurant.
WiFi worked well.
My only criticism is that check-in took a very long time, handled by a friendly receptionist who had only just started the job. She had no idea about ACSI discount or how to pay by bank card and needed more training or supervision. I hope she has now settled in!
Highly recommended, we\'ll be back.
