The family campsite De Kienehoef is located in the Bailiwick of Brabant. This lush environment boasts a natural setting and the ambience of the Brabant region. You can dive into the local history here or indulge in the delicious regional dishes at one of the many outdoor cafes. The campsite has no shortage of fun things to do. On the partially car-free camping fields, there are different kinds of playground equipment for the children. The campsite also boasts an open-air swimming pool, its own recreational pond, various sports fields and an activities team.

Car-free camping fields

Most of the touring pitches at De Kienehoef are located at the back on the partially car-free camping fields. These fields are beautifully arranged, each with playground equipment as the centrepiece of the field. There are also comfort fields. The camping fields at the back of the site have an additional sanitary facility.

Swimming pool and recreational pond

There is plenty to do for any guest at the campsite De Kienehoef. As soon as you check-in, you can head straight to the terrace of De Taveerne and enjoy a drink, ice cream or a snack from the small menu. It's also a great spot to keep an eye on the kids while they play in the open-air pool or children's pool, which are located just a bit farther along. If that's not enough aquatic fun for you, there is a recreational pond at the back of the campsite. 

Daily necessities

You can pick up some fresh rolls on the campsite every morning. You can buy all the other little things you need in Sint-Oedenrode, which is located one kilometre from the campsite. It has several supermarkets.

Liked - De speeltuin op het autovrije veld
Disliked - Verouderd toilet gebouw
De zwermen wespen rondom het zwembad maakte dat we elders zijn gaan zwemmen.
Auto’s reden erg hard over de camping
De bar sluit erg vroeg voor de zomer.

Liked - We hadden een geweldige plek en gezellige veld. Het is een mooie camping voor jonge kinderen. Die hebben daar genoeg te doen. Alles was goed voor elkaar. Bedankt voor de gastvrijheid en de gezellig 12 dagen
Disliked - Alleen de wc/douchen mogen wel een keer opgeknapt worden. Veder was het wel schoon

Liked - Rustige sfeer, veilig gevoel op de camping ook om de kinderen zelfstandig rond te laten lopen. Schoon en goed onderhouden sanitair en park. Leuk dat er foodtucks staan op bepaalde dagen.
Disliked - Verbeterpunten: Irritante schoonmaak tijd van het toilet gebouw. Van 10 tot 11 uur in de ochtend als iedereen net klaar is met het ochtend ritueel. Op het veld bij nr 233 staat een grote bouwlamp midden op het veld die is veel te fel in de avond. Het personeel in taverne en animatie is echt te jong en onervaren.

Liked - Mooie camping. Autovrije plek is ideaal, zo kunnen kinderen fijn met elkaar spelen zonder rekening te houden met autoverkeer.
Het meertje met het zand vonden de kinderen en wij ook helemaal geweldig. Hier zijn we elke dag geweest.
Toilet gebouw in de buurt wat fijn was.
Disliked - Helaas geen winkeltje op de camping. Dit was wel een gemis.
Wel kon je verse broodjes smorgens halen maar dan moest je dit een dag van te voren bestellen wat ik ook vervelend vind want vaak vergeet je dit.
Dit was ook pas vanaf 8:30 u.

Liked - Fijne plek, leuk speeltuintje op het veld. Buitenbad prima, meertje goed water.
Animatie doet het leuk, veel activiteiten.
Disliked - Zwembad en meertje niet afgeschermd, kleine kinderen lopen er zo in.
Veel wespen bij het zwembad.
Zou leuk zijn als de animatie bij de parade aandacht besteed aan een jarig kind (deden ze op onze vorige camping, was heel leuk).
Veel wisseling van gasten daardoor toch bijna elke dag auto's op het autovrije veld.

Liked - De zwemvijver was een groot succes bij onze kids..wij hadden een opblaasbootje bij en hebben ons uren geamuseerd aan de vijver..
Disliked - Veel wespen,maar dat is overal momenteel.. geen waterpunt aan de caravan

Liked - Gelegenheden voor zwemmen, speel attributen op staplaats reinheid was prima. Animatie was prima voor de kinderen.
Disliked - Aantal beschikbare douches te gering, prullenbak voor toiletbril reinigingsdoekjes of middel om wc bril te reinigen (corona) niet aanwezig. Algehele onderhoud zoals kitranden e.d. Verdient aandacht, gedateerd. Het sanitair werd schoongehouden.
