The family park De Vechtvallei is located on an old arm of the Overijssel Vecht, at the edge of the forests. The campground is surrounded by plenty of nature, such as the Hardenberg Range and the lateral moraines of the Rheezer belts, situated along the winding Overijssel Vecht. It is in a lovely location. Take into account that everything is closed on Sundays, including the reception, so you cannot arrive or depart on that day.
The campground is laid out like a park and is surrounded by green and low hedges, which create a great deal of privacy. There is a playground for the children on the central grass field. The comfort sites have a water connection, all sites have electricity and wireless internet (for a fee). There is a central sanitary building. You can hire various types of accommodations on the campground (trekker huts, luxury chalets and Finnish bungalows) that are equipped with all comforts. There is also a group accommodation for younger people.
The Vechtvallei has a covered swimming pool, with a roof that can be opened in the summer. The old arm of the Vecht is a fantastic place to cast a fishing line. The restaurant (with terrace) has a small menu. You can also have breakfast there.
Play and leisure
The guests of family park De Vechtvallei are not left to their own devices because there is a complete recreation team in the high season. The campground also has great sports facilities (playgrounds, trampolines and a leisure hall with foosball and table tennis). Outside, you have a football pitch, two volleyball courts and a basketball court.
