Camping 't Haasje is situated along the IJssel River in the hamlet of Fortmond, in the middle of a nature conservation area. It is a large campsite, with (touring) pitches on the IJssel River forelands offering a fantastic camping experience. The campsite owes its name to a former brickyard. A brick oven with half a chimney still stands in the middle of the campsite.
Camping 't Haasje is especially suitable for families and is made up partly of seasonal pitches and partly of touring pitches. The camping pitches on the IJssel River forelands are very popular. The camping pitches are rather spacious. The grounds are well-kept. For people travelling without their own camping equipment, 't Haasje has a lovely hiker's cabin available for rent (suitable for two people).
The campsite features a heated outdoor swimming pool with a separate paddling pool. The campsite is situated along the river, where you can also go swimming. The campsite is also highly suitable for fishermen because of its location right next to the river. There is a slipway, so you can bring your own boat.
The restaurant is located in one of the old brickyard buildings. This restaurant specialises in Greek cuisine. After dinner, you can enjoy one of the spectacular shows in the interactive theatre or a playback show, or the disco. There is a cosy cafeteria offering snacks for when you're feeling a little hungry.
In the summer, children can join in with arts and crafts, thrilling hunts, exciting team sports activities such as the hexathlon, and much more. An extra fun activity is taking lessons at the campsite's own waterski school in the summer.
