In the south of Portugal (the Algarve), close to the coast, you will find campsite Albufeira. This is a friendly family campsite with many hibernators during low season. The terrain slopes slightly but has flat pitches. The atmosphere is convivial and hospitable and there is a nice balance between activities and peace and quiet. The campsite is attractively located amidst a hilly landscape with interesting villages.

A pleasant, green campsite

On your way to the campsite you see a spacious field with beautiful swimming pools in the centre. You may choose one of the various (shaded and sunny) pitches. Albufeira is a campsite where you will soon feel at home. There is little demarcation between the pitches, but there are a large number of trees and plants. You camp on a hard, flat surface. In addition to camping pitches, there are rental mobile homes and bungalows.

Swimming and sunbathing

The swimming pools are located in full sun. From here you have a splendid view of the area. There is a toddler pool and and there are sufficient loungers around the pools. You can order a snack or a drink from the nearby restaurant. The beach is a few km down the road.

Regional products and sanitary facilities

The campsite has a good and affordable restaurant with a small and an extensive menu. There is a supermarket with a reasonably large selection and a choice of fresh food. You will also find good regional products here. There is a recreation hall for shows and parties. The sanitary facilities are spacious and clean and are divided over a number of blocks. There are special facilities for babies, children and disabled persons.

Wanneer is deze camping voor het laatst geïnspecteerd.
Daar moet nodig aan verbeterd worden.
Vertel ook erbij dat de snelweg er bijna naast ligt. Tevens twee padèl hallen. De wegen op en voor camping vol gaten. Dus ook vol water en modder.

fraaie, ruime, grote camping, gezellig tussen bomen. geen ingedeelde staanplaatsen, dus je staat waar je wil. in oktober heb je daardoor enorm grote staanplaatsen. voldoende schaduw of zon. prachtig zwembad. sanitair prima en schoon.
uitgebreide winkel.
zeer ruime wegen. toerit zit wel vol gaten. dus goed opletten.
naast camping een goed restaurant.

Camping met 2 gezichten, veel buitenlanders die er wonen in een tent. Ook overwinteraars kom je tegen. Prima vertoeven het is een grote camping en je mag zelf je plek uitzoeken.. Er is ruimte genoeg. prachtig groot zwembad, (3 stuks) restaurant, kleine supermarkt, sanitair super netjes. Loopafstand naar centrum van Albufeira. Een aanrader voor een bezoek aan Albufeira.

Het is een goede camping. Centrum Albufeira prima bereikbaar met de bus. Stopt bij de camping. Sanitair netjes en schoon. Wij waren er met de camper waarvoor wij natuurlijk al betalen. Maar kwamen er met onze scooter niet op en af. Want wij moesten bij de receptie een extra pasje laten maken waar je per dag voor betaalt. Terwijl je er met de elektrische fietsen zo oprijdt. Vind ik niet netjes. Ook de oprit naar de camping mag wel eens opgeknapt worden. Allemaal diepe kuilen en gaten. Echt een aanfluiting voor zo\'n nette camping.

Aanmelden bij aankomst is iets waarbij je geduld op de proef wordt gesteld. Daarna zelf plek uitzoeken, niet afgebakend. Landjepik dreigt. De camping oogt rommelig en is na een bui erg modderig. Positief is dat het sanitair zeer goed schoon gehouden wordt. Het restaurant op de camping is een afrader, ongeïnteresseerde bediening en een kok die er niets van kan. gelukkig is er naast de camping wel een goed restaurant.

De receptie is echt een fabriek er kan geen vriendelijk woord af. Je kiest ergens een plaatsje, niet afgebakend, wat in het naseizoen prima is. Wat echt vreselijk is, is dat de hele camping één grote asbak is, werkelijk overal ligt het vol met peuken, echt heel vies. Het sanitair is prima en wordt goed schoon gehouden. Het binnenland bij Albufeira is prachtig, voor ons echter geen plek om terug te komen.

Bij het aanmelden was het al meteen raak. De receptioniste had haar telefoon tussen oor en schouder en was heel druk aan het telefoneren met haar moeder of haar vriendje. Wij kregen via gebaren instructies wat we in moesten vullen.
\'s Middags werden wij teruggeschreeuwd door een jonge man bij de ingang dat wij niet onder de slagbomen door mochten. Met een vermanend vingertje zei hij dat wij dat toch gehoord hadden van de receptioniste. Nou nee dus. Er was ons helemaal niets verteld. Op dag 3 van ons verblijf werden wij, toen wij op onze bromscooter, bij de slagbomen stonden wederom toegeschreeuwd door een dame ditmaal, dat wij onmiddellijk naar de receptie moesten gaan. Op onze vraag, waarom, commandeerde zij: RECEPTIE! Daar werd ons zeer boos gevraagd waarom wij niet hadden gezegd dat wij een motor hebben. Wij hebben geen motor maar een bromscooter. Niks mee te maken. Daar moet je voor betalen. Waarom? Omdat de slagboom open moet. Oké.
Voor fietsen en e-bikes ook. Moeten die ook betalen? Nee. En onze brommer staat in de camper, neemt geen plaats in. Niks mee te maken. Daar moet je voor betalen. Dat hebben we dus maar gedaan.
Wij hebben al jaren een bromscooter en hebben al honderden campings bezocht. En we hebben er nog nooit voor betaald.
Ik heb gelezen dat deze camping een award heeft gewonnen. Ik mag toch hopen dat zij deze award niet gekregen hebben voor de vriendelijkheid van het personeel.
Het zwembad is wel mooi.
