Camping Bled is situated directly at the lake of the same name in the Julian Alps. You camp here in the north of Slovenia. Bled is a tourist attraction because of its unique location by the lake. You have a view of a small island in the middle of the lake on which stands a picturesque small church.
Spectacular route and attractive view
The last four km to the camping site lead over a scenic road, first through the village of Bled, thereafter along the lake. The camping site is located between two mountains in an elongated valley with lots of vegetation. The camping site slopes gently upwards with a few terraces. The higher you are, the more beautiful the view.
Diversity of accommodation
On the camping site you can rent lodge tents (glamping), unique trekker huts and very modern mobile homes. The lodge-tents are found on the edge of the forest. The latter are particularly striking. They are located on a separate, very quiet section of the camping site. They have a wood-fired tub to bathe in.
Swimming and other activities
Obviously, you will be swimming in Lake Bled. The lake looks splendid and from the bathing resort you have a spectacular view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. There is a sunbathing lawn with nice play equipment for children. You can go on great walking trips directly from the camping site. Furthermore, on the camping site you can play beach volleyball, basketball, soccer and badminton.
Feeling peckish? In addition to the usual tourist dishes, the camping restaurant menu also offers many regional specialities. These taste even better with a lovely Slovenian wine.

The attraction of this site is obviously Lake Bled with its crystal clear water and beautiful surroundings. The site is large, popular and professionally run. The pitches are level and mostly gravelled with no privacy. There are four toilet blocks of a very high standard and spotless. The site has its own restaurant and bar which is very popular and is open to the public, the food looked good and well priced although I did not partake. Outside the site is a grassed area beside the lake for sunbathing and the nearest outside bars and restaurants are a very pleasant walk of about 20 minutes alongside the lake. The area is very popular with visitors even in September and movement around by car is a tad tedious. The area is alpine with some interesting villages and lakes. One of the surprises for me was the Slovenian wine which was exceptional even the cheaper bottles sold in the supermarkets. I recommend a trip to Radovljica a couple of miles from the site which is a historical small town and one of the bars as you approach the old town with two large wine barrels outside is well worth visiting, he not only serves beer and wine but lets you try and taste the locally produced excellent reds and whites which he sells from his large stocks at the rear, certainly worth a visit. The only downside to the site is paying, you cannot pay the day before you leave as you have to return the key to the electrical point box, that means at weekends when many leave you can have 300 yard queues which means it takes some time to leave the site. This should be borne in mind if you intend to get off and away early. A highly recommended site in a beautiful country
A wonderfully situated camping site, close to Lake Bled and an easy walk to everything of interest in the area
Bra och trevlig camping med härligt bad och nära till affär och restauranger.
The campsite is next to the lake but because it is a long thin site in a wooded valley you have to walk outside to get the wonderful views.
A lot of pitches are gravel with patches of grass but no hedging between so there is little privacy. It was very busy even in mid season so advisable to book. There are plenty of electricity and water points.
The toilets are clean and tidy and quite modern. There are four different blocks as it is such a large site.
The staff are excellent - very friendly and helpful.
At the front of the site is a restaurant, bar and a small supermarket. The food is very good and the shop prices seem normal.
There are kids facilities as well.
Overall an excellent but very busy site.
Lovely site, good location. Helpful reception, nice toilet shower block. Easy walk into town along lake. Pleasant walk to complete lake circuit. Good selection of bars and restaurants.
The campsite itself is directly by the lake. We were at a time when there were about 300 people in the camp. Very close to the entrance to the campsite you have a restaurant and a shop. The staff at the reception is very friendly and helpful. Looks like they can help you with anything. Glamping houses are set in an idyllic location. Very close to the houses you have a parking space. The price includes hot tub, private bathroom and breakfast in the morning. A very interesting experience is how to get a hot tub to the right temperature. In the glamping area there is also a sauna. Very nice experience.
It\'s cushty, me and my baby girl loved it. It was lovely area opposites side of the town on lake bled. Staff were great help. Bar beside the camp had some daaamn good food
Je tady pěkně, krása všechno dobré, super super super.
We stayed here at your camping last week. That was one of the best summmers EVER! The staff was sooooo kind, toilet blocks were awesome. They have renovated toilet block no. 4 and they have private bathrooms there. We booked one and it is awesome! :D Bled lake is so beautiful and the temp of the lake is just right to swim in it. They also have an animation programme for kids, which is really great!
So it was really great and see you soon! :D
I have visited this campsite in the beginning of august with my girlfriend, and it was a perfect stay for us. The staff is very friendly, bathrooms are very clean and you have lots of activities which you can book at the reception. The camps location is perfect for exploring the lake and its sorroundings.
