We visited this site in August 2018 and were intending on staying 3 nights, in the end we only managed 2 as we were driven out by the continuous smell of sewerage, the site itself is old and in need of maintenance however it is on a lovely bit of coastline that offers some fantastic snorkelling and if you can cope with the smell which seems to be at the top of the site it’s worth a look.
Enjoyed our stay. The sea is lovely and a quiet beach. Great food at a reasonable price. Toilets and showers old but good always clean. The surrounding areas and pitches need quite a bit of maintenance and TLC. Would visit again so can't be bad!
We had a pitch for our 8m Motorhome directly off the beach with unobstructed views out to sea. Lovely bar that opened every day. You seem to either love or hate this campsite. We fell into the first category and stayed for about 10 weeks. We will be back again as soon as we can.
Extremely poor site with no interest at all from staff. Peeling paint and broken canopies, very small uneven pitches and showers akin to victorian baths. Feels dirty and seedy and buses
hardly running due to rock blocking road for TWO MONTHS. Don't try it as the owners dont give a damn.
This is a very small and scruffy looking site with very old toilet/shower facilities. It's located right on a small pebble beach which is also a bit scruffy. We only stayed for one night as we were travelling but the staff were very friendly and the toilets/showers were clean and worked very well. We woke to a lovely bright sea view and enjoyed our stay.
Very small pitches, campsite full of feral cats, very old toilet block, cold showers, pitches get muddy when raining, small stoney beach, feels like a 60s hippy site, lots of main road noise.
Very old worn out facilities, pitches suitable size for tents, cold showers. Shop and restaurant rarely open. There are many feral cats roaming the campsite in the rubbish bins etc. There is a small stoney beach and a steep climb uphill to the main road bus stop. There is lots of main road noise on the campsite. Ok if you want a hippy camp site sixties style with very old basic facilities. Paid Wi Fi
works sometimes if not many using it.
Good - right on the beach and good clean facilities.
Less good - quite a lot of road noise. Very small pitches and very close together. Restaurant unreliable - just didn't open at times.
Nice people at reception.
A terraced campsite located in a secluded cove immediately adjacent to a pebbly beach. The pitches are fairly small for a larger motorhome. The staff were very helpful and the on-site restaurant was good and reasonably priced. There is good and cheap bus access into Almeria. The showers and toilets were clean and well maintained. There was little privacy between adjacent pitches in the lower areas of the site.
This is one of the most wonderful camping sites we have been to in Europe or the UK. We came for 5 nights and will stay for a month. We certainly will be back. The staff are fantastic and the location tranquil and spectacular, right on the beach.
