Had not planned any meals as the camp was advertised as having a bar and resturant. Unfortunatly both were closed. Informed by unhelpfull staff that there were restaurants in the village. Must have walked at least 2ks before we came accross a tapas bar with little to offer.
Nice campsite but you really need a car to get around
We stayed here for 3 nights in the middle of January. The plot sizes are good but the entire site hasn't been well maintained. Shower block is basic but did have hot water as did the washing up sinks. Only one washing machine which was a bit temperamental. Lake nearby for an easy walk with a good interpretation centre.
Humilladero is a good base for visiting Antequera and El Torcal, a real stunning place to visit. Staff are friendly and helpful. The site is still quite new and being developed further, there's not as much hedging and other planting around as some other sites. Pitches are good size and easy to access. Shower facilities good.
Lovely clean site with big pitches, quiet day and night. Great showers. Staff friendly and helpful. Good area for walking and relaxing. Humilladero lake is a must for bird lovers.
We used this site as a stopover for 1 night - they accepted ACSI. It is easy access. Showers/toilets had an 'end of season' feel about them. The water was hot for the showers and washing up facilities. Lovely pool area. The restauarant was closed. We were out of season and would return.
A very nice site, quiet mid week off season. Friendly and helpful staff in reception and at the restaurant. Swimming pool very good. Nice walks locally into pine woodland. Avoid the pitches under the shade of strawberry trees which drop fruit, which is a little messy.
Very helpful staff. Excellent modern toilet facilities. Well maintained pitches. Moderately priced restaurant. Very pleasant swimming pool area. A good walk to town but not too strenuous
The site is open all year and the toilet blocks have two doors to keep them reasonably warm inside. They are all very clean and modern. Helpful receptionist and free wifi in reception and at nearby pitches. Good area for bird watching and walking.
Lovely newish site therefore some pitches unshaded, also sandy and could be muddy in wet weather. 16 amp electrics!! Lovely views from bar terrace. Quiet when we were there but pool busy with locals at weekends.
Antequera (castle & dolmens), El Chorro Gorge, Fuente de Piego lake nature reserve and El Torcal are all worth visiting.
