This is closed until 23rd sep 2019 for work. Does not look well kept for what we saw pool green. Will not return. Had to review as otherwise can’t post
Fabulous site. Fabulous staff. Right on the beach. Facilities block is immaculate. Great food in the bar/restaurant, open every event big and for English fry up on Saturday and Sunday, and a proper British roast if you want it, every Sunday. From the ground staff to the Boss, top service. Can’t wait to go back. No wonder it’s always full.
We\'ve stayed here a few times now, and I have to sat we\'ve had an amazing time again. Spot on for everything will definitely return
Lovely site not the cheapest but facilities and restaraunt excellent .Staff really helpfull and Scot the manager first class.
Excellent toilet and showers. New tapas menu very good. Nice sized pitches. Everything tidy. The most expensive site we’ve ever experienced. On all three occasions we’ve been told that our ACSI card is not accepted, so can’t understand why it’s on the ACSI site, and why it’s inspected every year.
great camping site. they have different sizes pitches. all pitches are divided by waist size hedges. great pool but a little small for the amount of people. beach is is just outside the fence. toilet and shower facilities really clean and in good condition. hot showers available all time.
A difficult review to write as previous reviews are somewhat overrated and we were disappointed. The area itself isn’t the greatest and whilst first impressions were favorable unfortunately the place didn’t live up to expectations. Our pitch referred to as a ‘super pitch’ on our invoice was cramped with no room to sit outside unless you were happy to sit with your feet on the road. The pool was small given the number of pitches and whilst the toilet facilities were better than many sites maintainence was an issue particularly in the ladies, shower drain covers were missing in all but two of the stalls and there were also doors missing locks. Whilst being prepared to accept such matters at other less developed sites it is not acceptable given the inordinately high fees charged here. Needless to say we will not be returning.
Lovely campsite. Toilet facilities great, very clean. Staff very friendly. Food in restaurant ok. Wi-if terrible, ok if you go up into the bar. Swimming pool very small. In a lovely position, right on a shingle beach. Great for dog walking. 5 minute stroll to old Spanish village Castillo, with some nice tapas bars, and 10 minute stroll to Duquesa port. Would definately recommend.
Stayed whole of Dec 16. Should be a good site as only 4 years old but owners not continuing to invest/ maintain standards . This is shown in general upkeep of facilities. Shower blocks which are relatively new are rusting, flooding & needing some tlc. Bar and restaurant ok but food only average and quiz night is just a money making exercise. No wifi on pitches around sides of site. Good location for port and restaurants. Disappointing overall for price charged.
As an introduction to camping in Spain this was great. Very clean facilities, helpful staff, close to the beach and a short walk into the nearby town of Manilva...a lovely start to our Spanish tour and we will definitely revisit in the future..
