Travelling party: Couple

This campsite is one of the most beautiful with stunning views across the sea, with hydrangeas in profusion. The amenities are spotless, we have no hesitation in recommending to others,or returning ourselves, as the town is picture perfect.

Travelling party: Seniors

This was our second stay at this lovely coast top site, overlooking the sea. The welcome by the owners was friendly and helped us find a suitable pitch for our motorhome. Sanitation facilities are quite acceptable.

Stopped here on our way to Santiago de Compostela, initially was going to be for one or two nights, but ended up staying for a week. Wonderful campsite, fantastic views of the ocean. Facilities are very clean and well maintained. Manager speaks several languages and is very helpful. Luarca is one of the most beautiful fishing villages on this entire coastline.

Have been travelling for 2 months in our campervan through France and Spain and this is our favorite spot thus far.

There is a resident orange cat named Ceecee who likes to be petted and fed cat treats. If you see her, give her some from us.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

It was the best campsite I have ever been to. Great toilet facilities and very nice bar & food. Sourrounded by a brilliant coast line and a few birds of prey (Eagles and peregrine falcons). Beaches are a bit of a walk. The staff are very friendly and there are some nice restaurants in town and an amazing ice cream shop. Would recommend to anyone traveling in a group.

Travelling party: Single

I have vivid memories of camping here, many years ago, in a gale of wind so strong that we had to lash the tent to our car to stop it from blowing away. On my visit this year the sun shone and everything was delightful: helpful staff, beautiful views, and good facilities. The site now has more trees and hedges to provide shelter than it did all those years ago; but I imagine it could still be a little bleak in wet and windy weather.

Travelling party: Couple

We stayed on this site in a caravan for 2 nights. The staff on arrival were helpful and took the time to direct us to our pitch and point out the facilities. The pitch allocated to us was a good size and was perched on the edge of the site overlooking the sea. We loved the pitch but access was difficult due to the narrow road and shrubs at each side. The wcs/showers were reasonable. The stand pipe was a push button rather than a screw tap and the water pressure was very low - it took 20 minutes to fill the water barrel! Otherwise this was a good site within walking distance of the town.
