A lovely discovery. Well laid out site and all the permanent residents are neatly organised. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Some pitches have beautiful aspects over adjoining estuary and sea. Very good shower/toilet facilities if a little dated. Very close bus and train stops for nearby towns. Pleasant cycle opportunities. Plenty of nearby bars/restaurants close to the site and in nearby Candas ( lovely 500 meter walk along seafront promenade). The site bar/restaurant was not open in October. We stayed for three nights and could happily have stayed longer. Would love to return.

This is one of the best run campsites. Easy walk to Candas, immaculate toilet facilities, good bar and food. Direct access to beach couple of bars near site entrance. Excellent

This is a small site set on a rocky headland with irregular shaped pitches on grass. Staff were helpful but did not speak much English. Café was not open when we went.
The views can be excellent but be wary of the wind if you have an awning - it can be fierce from certain directions.
There is a pleasant walk along the promontory to Candas where there are good restaurants and a nice ice cream shop.
Whilst the toilets were kept clean they were very outdated and not enough of them (However another block was being repaired at the time).
Overall a bit disappointing, except for the location.

We stayed here for one night in May, nice campsite, good facilities, good views from many of the pitched, nice walk along paved walkway to nearby town, with restaurants etc. Dogs not allowed on local beaches at the time we were there. Nice enough but not enough walking off site for our needs. Accepts ACSI card s ID but not part of the price scheme.

Nice small site in the little village of Perlora, only a short walk along a nice new promenade into the small town of Candas, which has many cafes and restaurants and a decent small beach. We stayed in late May and the site was quiet, though there were quite a few unoccupied caravans on pitches. There's not much shade, but some pitches have great sea views. There is a bar and restaurant but these weren't open when we visited. Toilet facilities were clean and adequate for the numbers of people on site; a second block was being refurbished when we were there. The site is convenient for a train into Gijon or Cudillero, or many stops in between.

Stayed on this site at end of September. Quite a lot of seasonal touring caravans here, but occupancy low at this time. When busy may feel a litgle cramped but perfectly acceptable for a couple of nights. It is all about the position of the site which is brilliant. 10 mis into town on foot. Cafe/bar on site wa closed when we were there. Toilets spotless with plenty of hot water.

Stayed here for 6 days at the end of September. Excellent site with friendly staff who keep the facilities immaculately clean. Most of the Spanish people who have their caravans here for the summer had packed up and gone so site was quiet. Cafe closed but bar still opened for coffee & drinks.
Location of site is excellent, particularly for motorhomers who want to leave their vehicle on site. FEVE coastal trains every 30 mins to Gijon (excellent city) run until late at night. Also local buses. Nearby town of Candas has everything you might need and is only a short walk away along a coastal promenade.

We were lucky enough to have one of the high pitches for our campervan overlooking the sea which gave us the most amazing view. Facilities all clean, location not brilliant, town within walking distance but no beach and very busy at the weekend. Great for an overnight stop but no longer.

A campsite which ticks so many boxes for a motorhome owner. A clean site with very friendly and helpful owners.
Panoramic views and a short flat walk of 10 minutes to the town of Candas with its shops, bars and restaurants.
The train station with regular services to Oviedo, Gijon, Aviles and further afield is 10 minutes walk away as are local bus services.
The wifi service was one of the best we’ve experienced.
