The terraced campsite Zarautz is situated on a hill. From the lawn adjacent to the campsite you have a lovely view of the sea, the bay of Harautz and the mountains. This is a lovely spot to watch the sunset. Beach lovers and city visitors are keen to spend a few days here. In summer there is a shuttle bus from the campsite to the well-known water sports resort Zarautz.

Demarcated pitch

On this well maintained campsite, guests have a demarcated pitch at their disposal of between 60 and 90 m2. At the edge of the campsite you have a lovely view of the area. There is a long and steep stairway (441 steps) which leads down to the beach of Zarautz. Once you have negotiated the stairway, you reach a splendid beach where surfers make the most of the waves.

Pot-luck

The restaurant on the campsite is generally perceived as good. You can choose from the menu or go for the table d’hôte, for which the chef prepares a simple but tasty meal. The campsite shop has a fair range of groceries (also daily fresh bread).

Surfers' paradise

The tranquil, large campsite forms a good base for visits to the beach and city trips. There is only a limited range of play equipment and no entertainment programme or swimming pool. None of these are necessary, as there are ample opportunities to play on the beach and swim in the sea. The waves along the 2 km long beach of Zauratz are popular with surfers. And paragliders love using the hill as a launching spot.

Super camping avec un accueil au top et en français. emplacement spacieux. Vidange eaux grises et noires sur un emolacement dédié pour 2 CC en même temps eaux propre bien séparées des eaux noires. Pas beaucoup de point d’eau propre. Equipements sportifs et jeux pour enfants. superbe vue sur la mer pour ceux qui ont un bon emplacement. Magasin avec seulement l’esseniel, pain et croissants. Restaurant. Je reviendrai.

Top camping! We stayed 3 nights and visited San Sebastián and Bilbao. Sanitary facilities are clean and large. The only thing to improve is WIFI as we were in the back of the camping and the connection was not very good.

Booked a 2 night stopover at this lovely site but just had to book a 3rd. Amazing views, fantastic staff and immaculately clean.
Nice gym with cardio equipment and a quality multi-gym.
Lovely walks into the town either down the cliff or on the road. The town is not a tourist resort but still plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from.
We will back in 2023.

pracht locatie boven op de klif.
aanrijden vanuit het dorp op zeeniveau naar bovenop is een prachtige rit
vriendelijk personeel op de receptie
wij hebben grote caravan en mochten voor dit ene nachtje voor de prijs van 1 over 2 plaatsen staan.
anders zouden we inderdaad de auto in de caravan hebben moeten parkeren, dus wij waren tevreden.
toch vinden wij de camping geen aanrader met grote campers of caravans , ook omdat de straatjes erg nauw zijn en maneuvreren moeilijker word als je niet even met de dissel of neus van de auto een, een klein stukje, over de “landsgrens” van een plek kan omdat ook die volgebouwd staat.
sanitair is ruim voldoende qua aantal, basic maar schoon.
ondanks dat het eind oktober was stond de camping prop vol.

Fijne camping, goed georganiseerd.
All in prijs, geen gedoe met munten etc.
Plaatsen met prachtig uitzicht over zee en Zarautz. Goede Wifi, warm water. Je grijpt nergens naast. Een topcamping voor mij.
Koop alleen géén wijn in het winkeltje op de camping. De Batuta rosé wordt voor € 1.20 per fles ingekocht(makro) en je mag er € 6.50 voor betalen. Het is ook niet te hachelen. Dat is dan weer jammer en eigenlijk schandalig.

Tijdens feestweek een uitstekende basis. Reserveren noodzakelijk want in het seizoen overvol. Schoon sanitair en vriendelijk, kundig personeel. Acsi kirtingskaart. Graag weer.

Le camping étant plein nous avons eu un emplacement en bas du camping au niveau des campeurs sans électricité. Bon passons... Par contre les sanitaires du bas (contrairement à ceux du hauts qui étaient propres) etaient très sales à notre arrivée : miroirs opaques tellement ils étaient sales. Robinetterie verdâtre, dentifrice partout, un dentier posé sur les lavabos. Quand aux douches, taches marrons sur bas et surtout occupées par les affaires des campeurs (gel douche caleçon serviette etc...) À notre départ 2 jours après toujours pas de trace de ménage. Dommage car c est un joli coin et la balade jusqu à la ville avec ses 500 marches est très agréable.

L\'unica pecca è la corrente elettrica visto che abbiamo avuto qualche problema
