The terraced campsite Zarautz is situated on a hill. From the lawn adjacent to the campsite you have a lovely view of the sea, the bay of Harautz and the mountains. This is a lovely spot to watch the sunset. Beach lovers and city visitors are keen to spend a few days here. In summer there is a shuttle bus from the campsite to the well-known water sports resort Zarautz.

Demarcated pitch

On this well maintained campsite, guests have a demarcated pitch at their disposal of between 60 and 90 m2. At the edge of the campsite you have a lovely view of the area. There is a long and steep stairway (441 steps) which leads down to the beach of Zarautz. Once you have negotiated the stairway, you reach a splendid beach where surfers make the most of the waves.

Pot-luck

The restaurant on the campsite is generally perceived as good. You can choose from the menu or go for the table d’hôte, for which the chef prepares a simple but tasty meal. The campsite shop has a fair range of groceries (also daily fresh bread).

Surfers' paradise

The tranquil, large campsite forms a good base for visits to the beach and city trips. There is only a limited range of play equipment and no entertainment programme or swimming pool. None of these are necessary, as there are ample opportunities to play on the beach and swim in the sea. The waves along the 2 km long beach of Zauratz are popular with surfers. And paragliders love using the hill as a launching spot.

Ich beziehe meine Bewertung nicht auf die Sauberkeit etc. , hier ist alles Top, aber beim Duschen oder Geschirrspülen fehlte komplett die Wärme, Schade

Ruime camping op redelijke hoogte. Toegangsweg onder aan de heuvel/berg waren voorzien van een paar nare drempels. Vriendelijke ontvangst, werden naar kampeerplaats gebracht. Goede Wi-Fi, grote sanitaire ruimten, wel wat gedateerd.
Prachtig uitzicht over de Golf met wandelpad naar het strand beneden.

What a great find. Fantastic views from pitches although a little small. The only concern was the state of the toilets and showers but due to rather disgusting German kids there for the surfing and constantly left the toilets and showers in a very dirty state. Definitely would return though as Zarautz, it is a beautiful location.

pracht locatie boven op de klif.
aanrijden vanuit het dorp op zeeniveau naar bovenop is een prachtige rit
vriendelijk personeel op de receptie
wij hebben grote caravan en mochten voor dit ene nachtje voor de prijs van 1 over 2 plaatsen staan.
anders zouden we inderdaad de auto in de caravan hebben moeten parkeren, dus wij waren tevreden.
toch vinden wij de camping geen aanrader met grote campers of caravans , ook omdat de straatjes erg nauw zijn en maneuvreren moeilijker word als je niet even met de dissel of neus van de auto een, een klein stukje, over de “landsgrens” van een plek kan omdat ook die volgebouwd staat.
sanitair is ruim voldoende qua aantal, basic maar schoon.
ondanks dat het eind oktober was stond de camping prop vol.

Der Campingplatz wird überwiegend von Surfern besucht, die dem Platz eine tiefenentspannte Atmosphäre verleihen. Die Stellplätze sind überwiegend klein. Größere Wohnwagen samt Vorzelt sind aber schon machbar. Das Zugfahrzeug muss dann aber auf dem Parkplatz vor dem Platz abgestellt werden.

Der Ort und der Strand sind sehr schön und können über eine Treppe (439 Stufen) aber auch über eine Busverbindung erreicht werden.

Die Sanitäranlagen sind neu und sauber. Der Platz war zur Besuchszeit gut besucht.

Ärgerlich war das Verhalten der Rezeption bei der Anreise. Es war angeblich nur ein Stellplatz frei. Der war von der Lage und Größe für einen WW und einen längeren Aufenthalt unzumutbar. Als wir den ablehnten, waren dann doch noch einige Stellplätze frei. Ähnliches Verhalten wurde auch von anderen Campern berichtet.Zudem wurde auf ein Hilfeersuchen nach einer Reifenpanne von der Rezeption äußerst zurückhaltend reagiert.

Camping agradable en el que se pueden destacar sus vistas y en estos momentos gran cuidado (comparado con otros camping) en la limpieza por asunto de la COVID19. Hay unos carteles que el usuario cambia cuando hace uso de una instalación para que quede reflejado que alguien lo ha usado y no está limpio. El servicio de limpieza continuamente limpia y cambia ese cartel que se encuentra instalado en cada fregadera, baño, lavabo,... Se dispone también de alfombrillas desinfectantes en las instalaciones, algo que tampoco he encontrado en otros campings.

14 dagen verbleven. mooie geaccidenteerde campings met plaatsen van wisselende grootte, dus niet altijd de auto bij de caravan. Lastig voor grote campers. Ligging is hoog tov stand en plaats.

Tijdens feestweek een uitstekende basis. Reserveren noodzakelijk want in het seizoen overvol. Schoon sanitair en vriendelijk, kundig personeel. Acsi kirtingskaart. Graag weer.
