Serious problem with decrepit electrics. Live and neutral both live. Tested with pro socket tester. There is a fault. Owner did not understand which was worrying. Said it was only the English who had problems. Took photos to show burn out on their mains hook up.
If this is regularly inspected then I have to ask what the inspector is doing.
The toilet/shower facilities are very poor indeed. No hot water, no shelf or partition in shower so care has to be taken not to soak everything. Needs updating urgently!!
Indeed there was a problem with the hot water, which was solved as soon as the
technical / PROFESSIONALS, wine.
We depend on the technical service and therefore its availability to solve the problem.
We apologize for not being able to solve the problem faster.
As for the toilets and showers, try to improve as soon as possible.
Thank you for your comments that we will consider.

Pleasant and helpful reception from the man who runs the site. Spacious pitches with a choice of sun, partial or total shade. Next to river which provides a pleasant walk or cycle ride. Bus stop is 10mins walk for bus into the city. We didn't eat in the restaurant but it gets very full at weekends, mainly locals.
As reported by others the toilet block is disappointing. Toilets are very low and have no seats. No hooks in showers. Having said that the toilets were always clean.
Very convenient for visiting this lovely city.
Very frendly and capable direction but it is a pitty that they can't spake englisch. The site is well kept but the toillet facilleties are outdated and a poor condtion. very nice site to visit Salamanca very easely and safe by bicke. acsi card exepted and therfore widly used by dutch ppeaple.
Nice friendly owners & well located for visiting Salamanca either by foot or cycle. The WC block is certainly clean but a definite time warp back to the 70's. No toilet seats, no shelving or hooks in the showers so you could end up with everything on the wet floor!
Potentially a good campsite but seriously let down by a few bad points. First to the good; the reception staff were excellent - friendly, (mostly) knowledgable and excellent English. Amenities are very good - well situated, good and modern toilet/wash/kitchen facilities, excellent shop with good fresh bread/pastries/deli/essentials and good restaurant with decent dishes. It's also close to the beautiful city of Salamanca and makes an excellent base to explore this city. But now to the bad; pitches are smallish - we were in a large 3 person tent and just fitted. Others, especially in campers, had some trouble in some pitches, but were alright in others. But if you're in a tent, forget plastic pegs - large steel is the only option and sometimes even that is not possible, as the ground was very hard and quite stony. The washing facilities are modern but each toilet cubicle shares a communal toilet roll dispenser, which runs out quickly and the showers have a communal bench to leave dry clothing, outside from the cubicles, which is very inconvenient. The site is very close to Salamanca but, despite Reception reassuring us it was a 6km walk, we tried it and found it was actually just over What really spoilt our stay at the campsite is the noise level - despite what we were told was a strict midnight to 8am silence rule so as not to disturb neighbours, the site's own facilities go on beyond this time and also we were disturbed by music playing loudly until 2am by some campers, and cars were driving around the site from 6.30am. It was very hard to get sleep. Also, most restaurant staff were excellent but one decided to mock us for trying to speak Spanish with him - this was the first time we have experienced this attitude in over 20 years of visiting Spain and despite us being quite fluent in Spanish. In summary - this could be a good stopping point with lots of potential but, especially if you have young children needing to sleep, U cannot recommend this site until changes are made.
We enjoyed our stay, the pitches were pleasantly laid out offering mixture of sun and shade. The cycle path to the city is very pretty but much of it is a narrow footpath through meadows, which could be very difficult if muddy.
The signposting directions are very poor, it was very difficult to find especially as we were misled by the claim that it is 2 Kms from Plaza de Espana, i would estimate nearer 5 kms!
Showers are outdated but clean, nowhere to hang towel or clothes to keep dry!
A great location with good pitches but let down by the od and worn out toilet blocks. In urgent need of an update. Good WiFi all over the campsite.
Don't be misled that you can walk into Salamanca from here. The book says 2 kms ut it is at least 5kms by road and if you take the riverside walk it would be nearer 7Kms!
Gostamos do parque, Staff excelente, parque calmo.
A piscina razoável, os WC razoáveis.
Lovely campsite, only a short bike ride long the river path into beautiful Salamanca. The campsite staff are very happy people who want to make your stay enjoyable. The facilities are a little tired but are clean and functional. Will call again en-route to the south and will stay a little longer next time.
We proberen kampeerders verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken.
Zoals voor de badkamers, esperamos poder hervormen ze volgend seizoen.
