Camping Globo Rojo is located north of Barcelona. This family campsite has a wooded terrain and three outdoor pools. It's just a few minutes walk to the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean.

If you follow the A2 to the south from Girona, you can continue your way to the N-II in the direction of Barcelona. You can follow the flat coastal road N-II to the campsite, but you can also take a shortcut via the C32. Then take the exit Calella de Mar. Globo Rojo is located directly on the N-II, just before the village of Canet de Mar.

Modern sanitary facilities

The Globo Rojo campsite is flat and shady. There are 155 touring pitches, 15 permanent pitches and 19 luxury rental accommodations. Most pitches are rather small. There are three toilet blocks with modern sanitary facilities. They are cleaned several times a day. You don't need shower tokens and toilet paper is available.

Enough to do

In the campsite restaurant you can enjoy Catalan specialities, but you can also go there for pizza or pasta. There are three outdoor pools next to the restaurant, including a paddling pool. At the reception you can hire kayaks, rowing boats and SUP-boards to take you out to sea. In the summer months there is an entertainment programme. There is a campsite shop and you’ll find a supermarket within walking distance. By car it will take you less than an hour to get to Barcelona. From the campsite there is also a shuttle bus and even a night bus. You can go to Barcelona by train from Canet de Mar railway station.

Travelling party: Young couple

We had a great stay here! Place is beautiful with a lot of desperately needed shade, has a private beach within 2 minutes walking distance, has friendly staff, good train and bus connection (bus station right on front of the entrance, train station is 15 minutes by foot). You can easily rent bikes at the reception. Showers and bathrooms are clean. Only negative point: they planted trees that have pointy needles, so no barefoot walking on the camping places. Would recommend 10/10!
