Travelling party: Couple

Just checked out of this site and would agree with most of the positive comments, all the site staff were more than helpful, the bus is a bonus and there is some noise from the road if you park too close. Recommended.

Travelling party: Couple

we came for a night and stayed for a week - the showers in the middle block are better than my shower at home ! staff very informative and the free dog friendly bus service straight to Plaza Catalyuna was great - you need to arrive early to book your place on the bus the next day or you may have to stand - free bus until june 1st - and Mataro is a lovely town - we will be back !

Travelling party: Young couple

This campsite has been the best site we have visited so far in the low season, the staff are very attentive and give you all the information you need regarding the site facilities, local town and transport to Barcelona. The free shuttle bus to mataro and Barcelona was a great addition. Toilet facilities were clean and showers were hot, we cannot comment on the entertainment and pool but the pizzas are great! The pitches are a really good size, the road is a little noisy in the day but it is quiet in the night. We would definitely recommend this site in the future.

Travelling party: Couple

The location of this campsite isn\'t perfect, meaning there isn\'t anything in the immediate walking distance, but the services provided make up more than enough for this. The shuttle connection runs smoothly and the daily free return coach to Barcelona is priceless. Staff is incredibly enthusiastic and helpful and solves things out at the light speed. Couldn\'t recommend this parking more for visiting Barcelona or Mataro or even a beach holiday, during the ACSI discount low season.

Well i don\'t normally write or read reviews as I feel opinions can vary. However I feel compelled to let people know about this site as I was very impressed and would feel happy recommending. First of all the staff -

Staff were very friendly and very helpful on the check in and information desk the staff worked hard to accommodate every request and will go out of there way to assist you.

Site.. the site is very well organised especially the plus pitches, this pitches will accommodate a good sized motorhome/Caravan with space for full awning, tent and table chairs and BBQ, and still have room for your car. Each plus pitch includes electric/water/waste and a euro plug is NOT required.

POOL The pool area is very clean and has a nice sized pool with area for young children. There are more than enough sunbeds which are all in good condition. During my stay the pool area was never busy and the pool was never overcrowded.

Overall The site is a must on your journey through Spain or like me good for a longer stay. Included in you price is a shuttle bus to Mataro every 30 minutes this bus will take you to the beach and beach bar (clean and uncrowded), the train station and Mataro town centre and will pick you up at any of the three locations to return to site and all is FREE of charge. There is also a FREE (small charge during high season) that will take you to Barcelona and bring you back at the end of the day. This is a excellent service as it means you don\'t need to drive. You can loan a bike from the site FREE also if you need a table and chairs or a BBQ the site will also loan you these FREE.

In ending I would say if you are looking for a site that offers everything you need for either a quick stopover or a longer break then you will not go wrong on this site. I am already sorting my next visit for a few weeks time.

We stayed at the campsite in march, so we had the CC discount rate which was great value for money. The complementary bus to the city centre of Barcelona was perfect. Sanetary building was clean and there was enough hot water.

Margaret Cheadle, on this campsite in March 2015

Travelling party: Couple

This is a well- run campsite with good clean facilities in a useful location for visiting Barcelona for which there is a free bus laid on. Not only that, there are several advantages for dog owners at this site as dogs are allowed to travel on the free bus and are also able to travel on the local trains to the resorts along the coast. The nearby town of Matero is within walking distance and part of the walk can be along the beach and also for the brave, alongside the railway track ! Disadvantages could be the busy road on which it is situated, however at least it meant it was easy to find. I would definitely use this site again.

Travelling party: Seniors

Easy access to this site and they have some large piches which made it easy for us with our fifth wheeler. These piches are close to the road though so there is quite a bit of traffic noise in the night.
The real plus for us was the free bus service to Barcelona. The site has a good stocked supermarket and a lovely bar/restaurant. We didn\\\'t eat there but the menu looked good.

Col Ford, on this campsite in September 2014

Travelling party: Couple

The only thing going for this site is the free out of season bus into Barcelona ! The pitches are very small on the A sites. These are used for acsi card users (don\\\'t expect 6 metre rule). Shop has very basic foods etc. Found a decent supermarket on the north side of town which is part of the French Auchan group. Overall won\\\'t be back.

Travelling party: Seniors

One of our favourite sites. The showers are immaculate and the water is always hot. The reception staff give you lots of information and are very helpful.
There is a free bus to Mataro and to Barcelona every day which is great if you have a motor home.

The pitches have water and drainage but are a bit gritty and sandy if it rains!

We will definitely return to this site again.
