Tamarit Beach Resort lies near the Catalan town of the same name on the Costa Dorada. There is lots to do for sporty holidaymakers, from stand-up paddle boarding and diving to Tai-Chi and water aerobics in the sea. The fitness room at Tamarit Beach Resort has recently been renovated for even more comfort. Children will enjoy themselves splendidly with the entertainment team, which organises shows and theme days such as a Superhero Day. Also very special: dining on the roof terrace of restaurant Brisa with a view of Tamarit castle. Recently, twenty luxury mobile homes have been added to the offer of accommodations. These are located in a green setting of trees, hedges, shrubs and flowers. They have a fun and modern interior.

The campsite is situated north of the city of Tarragona, directly on a sandy and pebble beach. It is a quiet area in green surroundings. The campsite has 24-hour security.

Own fridge or private sanitary facilities

At Tamarit Beach Resort you can book bungalows, cottages, lodge tents and camping pitches. The pathways and camping pitches are flanked by palm trees and are demarcated with hedges. Do you want a pitch with a sea view? You can rent premium pitches, which are located directly on the beach. On the second row from the beach are pitches with private sanitary facilities. When you have a pitch but like to keep your foodstuffs and drinks cool, you can rent a fridge.

New kids zone

Tamarit Beach Resort is a campsite for the entire family, but children take central place here. The campsite is frequented by many families with young children. They especially enjoy the renovated kids zone, more fun and safe. The weekends may get quite busy, because Spanish guests with permanent pitches will then flock to the campsite.

Travelling party: Family with children <4 years

Ein wirklich toller Campingplatz, der sehr zu empfehlen ist. Wir waren dort 8 Tage Ende Mai und hatten einen etwas teureren Platinum-Stellplatz gemietet mit eigenem Strandzugang (der nachts vom Sicherheitspersonal ab- und früh morgens wieder aufgeschlossen wurde) . Die durch Büsche und Hecken abgegrenzte Parzelle war z. T. unter Palmen und so groß (120 qm), dass wir sie mit Wohnmobil und Zelt belegen konnten. Insgesamt waren wir 4 Erwachsene (davon 2 Senioren) und zwei Kinder (1J. und knapp 4J.) und ein Hund. Für Hunde gibt es einen schönen schattigen Auslaufplatz mit Holz-Agilitygeräten sowie einem Trinkbrunnen und einer komfortablen ebenerdigen Hundedusche.
Der Strand ist sehr weitläufig mit feinem Sand und flach abfallend.

Tamarit Beach Resort bei Tarragona

Wir haben 4 Nächte auf dem Platz verbracht. Der Platz ist top ausgestattet, hat eine traumhafte Poollandschaft und direkten Zugang zum sauberen Sandstrand mit Blick auf die Burg???
Es gibt mehrere Restaurants, Cafés und einen Supermarkt mit guter Auswahl und humanen Preisen. Kinder leben hier wie im Paradies: Mehrere Spielplätze, Activitypark mit Trampolin und Kletterspielen, Miniclub, Minidisco, und und und. Für Erwachsene wird ebenso viel geboten und auch die Hunde wurden nicht vergessen und können sich im Freilauf mit Agilityparcour austoben.

Jetzt kommt das große ABER:
Leider läuft hier bei der Preispolitik etwas gehörig schief. Der im Vorfeld schriftlich über Mail und beim Einchecken mündlich zugesicherte Preis wurde beim checkout deutlich überschritten. Auf unsere Beschwerde hin verstrickt sich das Personal in Widersprüche und wird mit jedem Wort unfreundlicher und unverschämter.
Wir gehören nicht zu den Menschen, die jeden Euro 2x umdrehen, aber der fade Beigeschmack über den Leisten gezogen worden zu sein, lässt sich hier leider nicht verleugnen. Ehrlichkeit sucht man hier wohl vergebens und so wird uns dieser Platz nicht wiedersehen.
