Stayed here from 19 May for 2 weeks. It is impossible to offer any improvements they could make. The facilities were pristine as was the pool, restaurant and bar. We felt very privileged to stay here and will definitely be back.
This is a very nice sight with a helpful reception. If you have problems walking beware that two thirds of the sight is on a steep slope, however the lower part of the sight is flat and is ok for wheelchairs/mobility scooters. There is a good motorhome service point near the main entrance, and pool/bar/restaurant and children's play area are all on flat part of the park away from the camping area. There is access to the beach at the back of the camping area, also if you walk just out of the site again all nice and flat you can go into the small village, 150meters at most. There you will find 4/5 bars/restaurants, a chemist, small convenience store and a few other shops, you can get a bus here for Tarragona, well worth a visit, we would go back.
Where to start with Torre de la Mora...........
to date the best site I have stayed on. The pitch we had was shady and overlooked the blue flag beach of La Mora.
The staff were friendly and helpful to a man, woman etc.
The bar & restaurant were situated at the other side of Reception and the pool area was gorgeous and wifi was freely available in the pool/restaurant area.
The tolet block near us had only cold water available for washing pots & pans but 100 metres away was a modern shower/toilet/washing up facility with hot water.
The supermarket was well stocked and reasonably priced. In fact a kilo of spuds was cheaper than most of the local supermarkets.
There was a smallish urbanacione on th eothe rside of the beach with a couple of restaurants, a farmacia and a bank (the most pleasant walk to a bank I've ever had)
It was a very quiet site at night, we planned to stay two nights and stayed for seven.
I would recommend this site to anyone in the area and a site I will definitely return to in the future.
Lovely site, but there are a couple of minuses to be aware of. The staff do absolutely nothing to monitor people accessing the site from the beach, consequently we had two neighbours robbed on seperate days. The staff weren't best helpful and merely signposted the police office away in Tarragona and appeared to simply want it 'hushed up' to avoid scaring other campers. Secondly and worse, Friday to Sunday is bedlam as the 'contracts' arrived. Kids on bikes, barking dogs, music, shouting all added to make the weekends a nightmare. Then Sunday evening it returned to a lovely site. Rumour had it that the owners realise what happens at weekends are are seeking to reduce the number of contracts. If they do and if they realise that the gate onto the beach SHOULD BE MONITORED, then we'd happily return.
