Dear Eurocamping friends, in the middle of a trip through Europe and in Spain at the moment, I take the chance to write you some comments about few experiences in visited campings. Your inspectors do a great job, but in my opinion, they would need to sharpen the pen and be a bit more critic with the reviews..... I think than more of your clients following the recommendations of your ACSI guides (me included), would appreciate if they make a more accurate description of the camping.... Some of them are a bit of a mad dream because of terrible conditions to go in and out of the camping.... Nerrow pitches, roads inside the camping, plenty of trees, size of the pitches related to the prices in your of season guide.... (depending of the size of your caravan, in some places you need to \"upgrade\" the pitch and these price is not valid)....The risk of damaging your caravan is obvious.... And once in, is not easy to go out...!! Also, they could mention if extra costs are involved.... Electricity, internet, showers etc. The more information, the easiest for us to choose a camping knowing what is expecting us without surprises ....
But in all, your guides are very good.....I thank you for that, but there\'s always way for improvement....a review of visited campings during this Europe trip will follow once we\'re back home in some weeks from now.....
Stayed for 2 weeks over easter to ensure we could get a site after storing for the winter nearby. New site great pitches had a super pitch which was super. Restaurant /beach bar busy with nonresidents in day closed later loads of staff and even during hols when full managed ok. Difficult to believe so close to Benidorm great walk over cliffs to Calais Finistrat about an hour. Other way to Vila Joyosa shorter and also possible on bikes not as good a walk but more rewarding with many great restaurants etc
I loved this camp very clean tidy and staff were fabulous. The internet connection was excellent and did not fail once, which we found most camps lack. There was a board with menu of the day offers and tapas, also lots of organised entertainment. I was sent an email after checking in with all information about the camp and local area which we found very informative. The only fault was the cost to stay was a bit expensive compared to other camps; other than that can't wait to visit again.
Stayed 2 nights in January. Expensive for short stays and ACSI doesn't start till April. Longish walk along partly unmade path into nice small town. Toilet block new but very small for number of pitches. Restaurant and bar looked good but we did not eat there.
Great site for motorhomes and caravans. Big pitches, covered or uncovered, lovely area, sea views. Showers great, washing machine super, near a Carrefour but only if you have transport or it's a LONG walk. We were staying for 2 nights, ended up staying a week. Booking for 8 weeks in winter, can't wait. Not to far away from Benidorm and villajoyosa, but I think you'll need transport. All in all a great campsite
