Hammarstrands Camping is situated in the middle of the Swedish countryside. With a beautiful view over the river Indalsälven, this is a unique and very quiet camping spot. Take a morning dip in the river and finish the day with a campfire. In the meantime, enjoy Swedish delicacies and eco-friendly ice cream.

Camping between forest and river

A crackling fire in front of your caravan or tent. The starry sky that stretches above you. The babbling water of the river, the wind rustling through the trees. That is camping at Hammarstrands Campsite. The thirty pitches are situated on the grass between forest and water. You can spend a real Swedish holiday in a stuga: one of those typical red wooden holiday homes.

Ice cream on wind energy

Are you ready for something sweet after a dip in the river? Then take a stroll to the café near reception. There, a 'fika' awaits you: a social tradition in Sweden where people get together for a hot cup of coffee and a treat. You can also choose from about twenty-five kinds of Swedish ice cream. Fun fact: the ice cream is made using wind energy.

Cooking in a real kitchen

You don't have to worry about dinner. A nice fish and chips, hamburger or schnitzel: everything is prepared for you. Would you rather cook and shop for yourself? Then you can find everything you need in Hammarstrand. And a three-course meal is prepared in no time at this campsite. You can use the heated service house for a fully equipped kitchen.

Zeer mooi en schoon, de eigenaren doen er alles aan om het de gast naar de zin te maken lekker gegeten in het restaurant en de broodjes waren heerlijk met het ontbijt

Travelling party: Seniors

Een nachtje verbleven. Niet omdat het niet goed was, integendeel, maar we zijn op doorreis. Alleraardigst ontvangen door Brenda. Sanitair is niet supermodern, maar wel superschoon en de keuken is compleet!!! Succes met je winkeltje.

We hadden ons zo verheugt maar het was een grote teleurstelling de toiletten waren zo smerig dat we daar geen gebruik van konden maken we wilden niet ziek worden corona een Camping met Nederlandse eigenaar met patat en frikandellen, maar om voor 2 personen patat en 5 frikandellen 27 Euro te betalen dat gaat toch echt te ver
ze bieden een zwembad aan als reclame, maar die was leeg, het was te laat om direct te vertrekken dus dat we hebben de volgende ochtend gedaan, NOOIT MEER
