Camping Stocken is a camping site in the south-west of Sweden. You will find the camping site in the island of Orust, on the so-called Skagerrak. This is the strait between Sweden and Denmark, north of the Kattegat. Orust is connected to the mainland by bridges. You camp here in a quiet, rural area surrounded by small villages and many fishing villages along the coast.
With a view of the rocky coastline
The entrance of the camping site is well maintained, with many flowers and unique woodcarvings. You will be extended a friendly welcome. You can find tourist information in the stuga (hut) opposite the reception. When you drive to your pitch, you can smell the salty scent of the sea and you start enjoying the panoramic view of the Skagerrak.
Many sports activities
Approximately 500 m down the road you will find a lovely sandy beach where you can play and swim. Furthermore, there is lots to do on and off the camping site, such as mini golf, crab fishing and soccer. For children there is a playground, a bouncer and a children's club (in peak season).
Teenagers can also make use of the multifunctional sports field, the pétanque court and the recreation area with TV. In addition, there is a sauna and a kitchen with microwave oven and dish washer.
Bread rolls and a newspaper
Near the reception there is also a shop for daily necessities, with fresh rolls daily and newspapers. In the restaurant you can get pub food or an à la carte meal. You can also get take-away meals. The sanitary facilities are of good quality. You can access the buildings with a pass.
