"Near the main Hull-York road. The cosy camp site, with a lot of flowers and plants and with spacious pitches, is located approx. 20 minutes from this town. Ideal as an initial stop for cycle tourism."

Travelling party: Couple

This is a very level well run caravan site with friendly owners. The toilets and showers are immaculately clean, and are included in pitch fee as is the pot washing area. The site is about 100 yards from the main A1079. You can hear slight traffic noise. The wild birds, Owls, Green finches, Yellow hammers, Gold finches and Robins were in abundance as well as pheasants. The site has a kiddie’s play area and a separate dog walk which is two fields away from the play area. All the pitches are more than adequate some hard standing and some grass. It is well illuminated at night and the entrance is controlled by a key card barrier. There is a pub and restaurant 100 yards away and two bus stops at the campsite entrance. The site is a mile from Pocklington where there are two supermarkets ALDI and Sainsbury’s. As well as bread shops banks and cafes in the town centre. The nearby city of York with historic Minster walls and building are within easy reach. The coast is well within easy reach of this site possibly travelling via the East Yorkshire Wolds (David Hockney country) I would recommend this site for all ages.
