Camping ligt dicht bij een drukke autoweg en het geluid is redelijk goed te horen. Geen wifi aanwezig. Wel makkelijk om naar Winchester toe te gaan, wij zijn met de fiets gegaan over een klein paadje langs de autoweg, steile helling in Winchester zelf. Prima camping voor 2 nachten om de stad te bezoeken.

Wij hebben camping bezocht in mei 2011. Typische caravan club camping. Kampeervoorzieningen zijn goed en verder zijn er geen faciliteiten: geen speelveld voor kinderen, geen echte winkel, geen sportvoorzieningen. Camping ligt buiten de stad; prima busverbinding, praktisch vanaf de campinguitgang naar centrum stad. Kampeerterrein is open grasveld, waarop een paaltje het midden van de kampeerplek aangeeft. Wij hebben er zes dagen gestaan.
