Travelling party: Seniors

We visited Mablethorpe just for a few days ~ the town/seaside resort were much as we were expecting with "typical" entertainment, fish & chip shops etc but the sandy beaches were far superior to expectations. The campsite was, however, somewhat disappointing with very limited facilities and pitches very close to each other. There seemed plenty of space even in high season to be more generous. The toilet block was just about adequate but closed for cleaning for an hour or so from 10.30am when still many campers, including ourselves, still wanted their use and much daily attention given to grass trimming to the detriment of more time on occasional "tidying up" of wash basins and shower and toilet cubicles. The space set aside for dog walking was completely inadequate, much more could have been made available, especially as the roads around the site were busy with holiday makers and local people rushing about in their cars.
